Brilliant service from Vax!
Battery died after just over 2 months. I contacted the Vax who were excellent, sending me a new battery the same day at no charge to me. Brilliant!

Expensive
Effective replacement, but expensive

Great product, but call Vax to register as the form does not work on their website for this battery
As described, new battery has arrived and works in the Vax and has charged up fully. The only issue I had was that it would not let me register it in the Vax website for the 3 years warranty as the form does not recognize the model number BV29040V, if you drop the V it does but then the serial number does not match the model number, so I ended up using the chatbot and got through to a human that registered it for me.

It was was what I expected to receive. Packaging was good, delivery was prompt.

Original over a Cheaper one
Ok so this original battery cost more but please believe me, I have also gone down the cheaper route for a re-placement and maybe I was unlucky but it soon died on me, the build quality is better on the original and if I get the same time on it as I did the ones that came with the vacuum cleaner then I will be happy, The cheaper one lasted me 2 months { again I may have be unlucky } the ones that came with the vacuum lasted two years { one still going strong } if you compare the two together you can see that this original battery is built better and have a far better quality feel about it, is it worth the extra £30 odd pound? time I hope will tell.

Short actual battery life 2yrs
Battery stopped charging after two years, developed a common fault according to forums. Battery itself is fine but the onboard BMS shows a fault that can't be cleared. Shame as the actual vacuum works well.
