Absolutely brilliant little strimmer! Just taken on an allotment and needed something battery operated and light and easy to handle and economical.This fulfils these requirements,charge lasts 40 mins then home to recharge. Really pleased with my purchase!

Bought this for the wife as she wanted lightweight. easy to use and surprisingly effective for light duty work. I bought spare blades but so far have not needed them

Bought this flymo to trim edges of front and rear gardens excellent for what I need it for.It comes with four blades stored under the handle,very light and easy to use, would recommend this item.

I bought this as a replacement for a Flymo electric strimmer for which parts were no longer available, so I went cordless to make things easier. The strimmer arrived very quickly and was easy to set up and was lightweight. However, it was clear that this is not a very good product: (1) The battery took almost three hours to charge and only gave around 25 minutes’ operation. This seems like a terrible ratio; (2) The battery pack cannot be separated from the unit for charging, so the entire grass-covered unit has to be taken indoors to charge unless you have a power point in a garage or shed; (3) The blade is very weak. I was unable to tackle long grass, stubborn weeds or the moss between block paving bricks without the blade grinding away to nothing. Nylon wire on a reel was much more efficient.I ended up going to B&Q and picking up an electric Mac Allister strimmer for £35 to do the job.All in all, a complete waste of money for me.

I was very surprised at just how good this little Flymo trimmer is. Unusually it's not self assembly and you just have to click a couple of parts into place. For a small garden it does an excellent job. No awkward wires, good battery life and a surprisingly efficient, strong trimmer. I only have a small garden but it cuts through all the edges and long grass, even some brambles that dared to come up by my hedge at the end of the garden. Best trimmer I have ever owned. Thoroughly recommend.

good hedgecutter but slow to recharge

It is easy to use and lightweight. The battery is built in so you don’t have to struggle to get it off. I am a 68 year old woman and I found it easy to use.
