Solid 4th season pad
I got the trail pro to replace my old thermarest luxury series as my winter pad. It is warm and rather compact for a self Inflating pad it can easily fit in my osprey ceres 50 with a good amount of room left. The pads shape is rather good for a mummy pad. The pad is warm down to 10 degrees but when paired with a closed cell foam pad I have been warm down to zero degreesAll and all this is a really good, reliable, comfortable and warm pad

Great pad for backpacking
I slept on this pad on the ground in a tent and in a hammock and have loved it both ways. I took it backpacking. It's not the lightest or smallest, but it kept me warm. That R value is legit. I tried sleeping in my hammock without it as the forecast called for warm weather in the high uintas (over 10k feet), but as should be expected, some colder weather surprised us. So I grabbed the pad and was instantly much warmer in my hammock. Also - if you use it in the hammock, I found not inflating it all the way allowed me to position it easier while providing the separation to stay warm. It also helped me wiggle around and get comfortable. I recommend trying it out before you go. Great pad, happy with the purchase.

Best sleep
This pad is awesome. It’s soooo comfortable. I was worried about being able to sleep at Scout summer camp, but with this, slept well all week. It deflated slightly on Night 3, but just a few breaths had it working for the rest of the week.

Great Car Camping Mat
I like the Trail Pro Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat because I don't have to huff & puff to blow it up. Thermarest does all the work for me. It is comfortable to sleep on. The first night the pad slid around but then I realized that there is a smooth bottom side and a more grippy top material. Problem solved when I flipped the pad over. Durability: only time will tell. I do put a closed cell sleeping pad underneath for a little extra protection. It is a little heavy for backpacking. I use the Thermarest NeoAir XL for backpacking.

Lightweight and comfortable!
Only tested out for 1 night. Very comfortable! Self in-inflating part only takes a few minutes and it’s easy to adjust to your preferred firmness. I suggest getting the wide version! You won’t regret it.Edit: I slept on this for 6 nights straight and it was a dream! Packed up nicely and self inflated each time we moved locations. Definitely a 10/10 mat. I hope it lasts a long time!

Therm-A-Rest lives up to it's name. As a sleep pad it keeps the coldness of the ground at bay.
