Logitech MK735 Performance Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo

This Logitech MK735 is replacing my Logitech MK710 that I've used daily for over the last 5 years. The MK735 appears to be the successor to the MK710, which I am replacing due to a warp in the left mouse key that I noticed the last few months. This warp in the mouse key complicated dragging and dropping items between folders. It was time to upgrade! Overall, the MK710 survived daily use in a writing heavy civil practice. It's helped me draft countless motions, trial briefs and appeals reliably. The battery life is exceptional-- I don't think I change the double AAs more than once every few years. As I went to replace the MK710, I just noticed I had worn out the "c" and "s" keys, which those of you still using DOS commands will appreciate! The MK735, like itsMK710 predecessor, uses one USB to tether the mouse and keyboard to your tower/laptop/docking station. The keyboard has an adjustable tilt and wrist rest which have worked comfortably for me, as well as hot keys to adjust volume while listening to music. While priced a bit higher than other keyboards, I believe its worth the money. I used the MK735 to draft this review and, though the key return is a little tighter than the the MK710, the ergonomics are identical. I trust the MK735 will continue to provide many more years of reliable writing enjoyment and written advocacy for my clients. I would recommend this product.

This is an excellent wireless keyboard and mouse. It's not super fancy, but it does basically everything most people will need, for a very reasonable price. The keyboard is comfortable to use for work or gaming, and the media buttons do exactly what they're supposed to. The "feet" on the back of the keyboard can actually be set to three different positions (flat, and two different angles), so it's pretty simple to get the keyboard adjusted to be comfortable to use. The mouse does exactly what it's supposed to, and the extra buttons on the side are very handy for web browsing or other applications, and they can pretty easily be set up to do different things. Installation is easy, since you just pull out the protective plastic from the battery cases, plug in the wireless dongle (which comes with a handy extension cord in case the USB port isn't somewhere convenient), and start using the keyboard and mouse. Battery life is also excellent. In about a month, I haven't managed to even drain one bar of the battery indicator on the keyboard, and since the older version of this set usually needed new batteries maybe once or twice a year, I expect similar battery life with these.

Plug and play. The biggest issue I have with Logitech is the unifying receivers which seem to stop working after a few years.

I'm laid up right now and have my laptop running to the TV. I bought this set so I could avoid cords running across the floor. I was pleasantly surprised each device came with Duracell batteries. I was also surprised to see that Logitech supplied a USB extension cable so the USB dongle could be set in a place where reception would be good. Keyboard: The palmest is soft. The media and shortcut keys are endlessly helpful. The keyboard has a decent feel when striking a key. Keys are in the positions I prefer and it's a solid device. Mouse: I expected a pretty basic mouse. The supplied mouse is actually pretty nice. It's got a better weight to it than most. It's smaller than most mice, especially gaming, while not being as absurdly small as some of the travel/portable/micro devices. Overall my expectations were reasonably (I think) tempered and what I got easily exceeded those expectations. Well done Logitech

The Logitech MK735 Performance Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo is definitely one of my favorite keypads! The keyboard is super soft and comfortable to type on, making it a joy to use all day. It’s gentle on my wrists, which is a huge plus for long typing sessions. The wireless connection is reliable, and the mouse is smooth and responsive. I've always liked Logitech products They're affordable, well thought out, and last forever. I have a 10 year old Logitech joystick I use everyday and it works just as well as the day I bought it. The keyboard I had before I replaced it with the Logitech MK735 was a iBUYPOWER keyboard. It was only 2 years old. The letters wore off the keys and the board wasn't thought out well at all. Real poor gaming board and noisy. Other Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combos I've owned, the battery life was about 2-3 months. That's everyday use. We'll see how long this one lasts. I do like the on/off switch feature on the keyboard. I'll probably never use it. But it's a good idea.

I had previously commented that my "waz" keys suddenly stopped working after 2 years of great performance. Well, it was tilda's fault. It turned out that I neglected to test the ~ key and that one was also not working. Note that all of these keys likely shared a common line. All of the keys could depress and so didn't feel stuck. So I remove the ~ keytop, didn't see anything, but blew out any unseen debris (as I had done with the waz keys. Nothing blew out. But, when I tried the keys again, all were working. Ghost particles? likely something small had gotten into the key top plunger opening and wedged it just enough to engage it, thus not allowing any other keys on that common line to work. Bizzare. So... they keyboard has lasted 2 years and hopefully at least 5 more. It has definitely outlived a mouse already.

This mouse and keyboard combo is really good. The mouse had a great ergonomic feels and dedicated buttons that make it very useful when moving through folders. The keyboard is very comfortable and provides a nice palm rest. The keys have a nice feel and decent travel. It is quiet which is nice. Highly recommend for home office.

I bought this because I am working part time at home, part time at work and I didn't want to have to carry everything to and from the office. I use this one at home and it's perfect. Never have any issues with connectivity. I have had it for a couple months now and the letters are not showing any wear. The mouse is awesome. It's ambidextrous which I am happy about because I use my mouse on the left side even though I'm right handed. Can't speak to the battery life though because I've only had it a few months. No complaints so far.

Keyboard and mouse work well. I keep the USB unifier fairly close, as the range can affect quality. My only gripe is that many of the letters are getting worn off. After 1 year S and C and N are mostly gone. I've owned many other Logitech keyboards for MUCH longer and never had this problem - but I see in the reviews that many others have this issue now. Seems like a simple test for a keyboard - make sure the letters don't wear off with use...

I wasn't having luck with keyboard until I got this one. It works great, looks great and is very comfortable.
