He especially commented on the design and all the extra pockets in front bib for carrying all his painter/manly stuff in that no other bibs he'd tried have had like this bib. He asked me to get him 3 more and says this is the only bibs he will wear from now on. He didn't even want to take them off or get them dirty and if you knew my Stanthepainter almost everything he owns has paint on it.. I'm very pleased he's happy. This said, I knew we would have to do some alterations when i ordered these for my 5 foot tall and 110 pound daughter. We washed and dried these on high heat and got some nice shrinkage. Then she sewed up the inside legs and crotch to better fit. She cut a few inches off the length and stitched them back up. All said about an hour. Why go to all these lengths? My daughter needed fuchsia overalls for a play. We needed to dye them, and it much easier to dye 100 percent white cotton than bleach and then dye a colored garment. These overalls were good quality medium weight. They colored beautifully. Ps. They're a lighter material and just feel comfortable. You're not walking around in cardboard. I'm a commercial painter so I put them through the ringer and seem to be doing okay. The suspenders are a little wimpy and don't stay in a flat strap form after a lot of use but I prefer to be comfortable and can deal with it. The white ones seem to be made of a slightly heavier material or maybe it's whatever makes them white that stiffens them up a bit more. They are SUPER white.
