I like how you can adjust the length. It is very sturdy. I use it to scoop up shark teeth on beaches and it works great. I have had so many people asking me what it was for and where I got it because they wanted one. Works good for what I use it for! Works good for shells also. You can scoop it up before the wave comes and takes your treasure away. I would definitely recommend it!!

I love this scoop! It is clean, good engineering, simple to adjust and disassemble or store. I was not sure how I was going to handle recovery after cataract surgeon said not to bend over for 2 weeks. Bought a couple versions of this for a beach trip. They work great, and help keep the back from being sore after a day of shelling. Like anything else, the saltwater will tear these up over time if you don't rinse them off with freshwater when you're done. I expect them to last a good bit of time if I take care of them.

I actually purchased this to use in the chicken coop to sift the poop out of the sand under their roosting bars. I had purchased another litter scoop initially, and decided I needed one with smaller holes to prevent the smaller pieces of waste from falling through, so I ordered this one. It works great and I like yhe convenience of being able to adjust the length of the handle depending on how far I’m reaching on their poop shelf. I do wish the scoop was a little wider to cover more space but I realize this is made for smaller cat littler boxes instead of the large area I’m using it for. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

We use the okocat litter which is very small chunks of wood shavings. It's very similar in texture and size to clay litter, but the wood does not slide through the mesh of this scoop as well as sand or clay, I guess. The scoop is very well made and comfortable to use, but a giant pile of litter just sits in the scoop and refuses to sift out. I tried using wire snips to make the holes larger in the mesh, but that didn't help and I ended up throwing the scoop away in defeat. I think it would work really well for other types of litter, but I do want to warn other shoppers that it's a bust when used for wood litter. The welding job that attaches the wire mesh to the frame is excellent.

I have purchased many different sizes of nets and scoops. So far, this has been the best one. Just the right size and the basket has been sturdy. Many have bent but not this one. I would recommend this as a definite keeper!
