kind of disappointed i was expecting a bigger bottle for the price i paid.

KIWI Sneaker Cleaner is something you definitely need to be on top of when you first purchase your shoes. I used this on a pair of snow boots that were gently used and they got marginally clean.What you get is a cleaner with a plastic mesh like sponge on the top. You squeeze the cleaner out and clean your shoe. I suggest wiping off as much dirt and mud as possible before using this. After you use the cleaner, wait for a few minutes, and then with a damp cloth wipe it off. The white parts will not be white as they were when you bought your shoes, but they will be "clean". This is a good cleaner if you aren't too rough on your shoes. However, no matter how hard I try, my shoes end up extremely dirty, scuffed, and utterly destroyed, usually thanks to other people who for some reason don't see a 5'10" very large woman standing nearby. So, this isn't going to put my shoes back to when I first took them out of the box. However, if you are the opposite of me, then this will should work well for you. As for me, my shoes won't look too ragged, but this is not my solution to keeping my shoes pristine.

This is basically a super easy process. All you have to do is wipe off your shoes and then takeoff the lid to the Kiwi bottle, push down and move it around in circular motions.As you can see on my Nike Air Max’s that I have some scratches/scuff marks plus some dirty marks within some creases.Now it doesn’t do miracles with the scratches but it’s pretty darn clean from the before picture.It was easy to clean and therapeutic. Now, I just have to buy some new white laces to go with my new clean white shoes.

You don't really need all three steps, each requiring the purchase of a different product. This is #1, the cleaner, and it works. If you're an average person with white sneakers that cost you a reasonable amount of money, you'll be happy with this, and maybe you'll also want to get the product for step #2, the protector...like simonizing a car, perhaps? I know there are people who take sneakers VERY seriously and pay thousands for limited editions, but I can't address their concerns when it comes to care. I tend to wear white sneakers year-round, and in rainy weather they get pretty muddy, so I'm glad to have this cleaner on hand.

This is not a miracle worker for dirty shoes. I don't think it's really intended as such. It's mostly for those sneakers with thick white soles that go all the way around and you want to keep those soles looking bright white. It has a handy scrub brush top to it so you can scrub them clean, but you do need to stay on top of it. If your shoes get real dirty, they might require more than just this. But it's small and easy to keep in a gym locker or duffel bag. It works well enough, but isn't perfect.
