Originally, the product arrived damaged: the brim of the hat had broken off, presumably in transit. But Russian Souvenirs promptly sent a replacement at no cost from Byelorussia which was perfect. Thank you, comrades!

I see one other review saying that the quality is poor. Well, it's made of plaster, not metal, so it is breakable if you drop it, etc. However, the price is about right given that similar metallic products typically cost about USD100 or more. With regard to the paint job, it's a bit coarse, but I think this is the intended style rather than a defect. It's supposed to look a bit rustic. I'm quite satisfied with the product for the price. If you're looking for something more durable, then this probably won't satisfy you, but for what it is, it's a great product.

It's most likely not too shocking given the price but I expected something at least slightly better than what I received. The mold, particularly along the eyelids has a lot of errors, bubbling issues, and other flaws that make Lenin look like he is suffering from some kind of serious skin condition.
