I ware a large in the other brand and thats what I ordered here. It seems their large starts at 45! The other was 38 to 42 for large, so this is a bit big. My fault for not checking enough. Needless to say the fit is a little loose. I do like the pad though, as wraps around more that the other. I have to ware shilds as well as the pants. I won't know how well the work until I have a problem. I do worry the fit may let them leak, but I won't blame that on these pants. I will get the right ones next time. As this may not work as well as the right size I am giving this three starts.
