Perfect as a piggy bank and a reward system.
Love! My son has been asking did a gumball machine. I wanted to get a nicer looking one but did not want to get glass knowing he is only six and it could break. This one is really cute and accepts quarters. We have been giving him a quarter for chores and doing extra things around the house, he uses us almost like a piggy bank, but he also gets a gumball!

Gum ball
Ordered this bubble gum machine for One of my students thinking it was going to be a little cheap one but was surprised it was a good quality hard plastic. Very easy to use actually fit a lot of gum balls appearance was nicer then I thought. And red was her favorite color very happy with this purchase

Decent
I bought the Classic Dubble Bubble Gumball Coin Bank. As I bought this as a gag gift for a friend (adult age), my expectations were low. All I wanted was: (A) for it to work properly : I did verify that the bank works properly. After placing the gumballs inside, I inserted a penny into the money slot, turned the knob, & received a gumball. (B) be mostly full of gumballs (as pictured). :As you can see from the pics, 50 gumballs (included in the package) doesn't go a long way. So please don't expect this item to look like the displayed picture on the site. Also, please know that the plastic is very thin. Measurements are given at weighing a little over a pound & I think that's with the gumballs inside. Understanding that it's a novelty item, I get the price. But considering the flimsy-ness of the product material...I think it's a little overpriced. I'd say $10-15 (not $20) would be closer to its worth. Overall, though, it's what I needed so I bought it & again, I'm happy that it works. UPDATE: 2/10/2023 - and now I've found out that neither the top nor the bottom cover hold in place very securely. As I was trying to pack this item, both the top & bottom covers came off. I barely moved the item. I was able to get the covers back on, but still.

SCHYLLING saves the day! Amazon should be ashamed!
I’m writing this 5 star review to spotlight SCHYLLING. It has absolutely nothing to do with Amazon although I did purchase this from Amazon. My grandson has three things he wanted from Santa and this gumball machine was one of them. Amazon shipped this package to me ripped/torn as shown in the pictures. This product is NOT RETURNABLE because it’s food (gumball). I was so disappointed. Although my grandson would’ve been happy to receive the gumball machine I was very disappointed that Amazon would even consider sending this product to a customer and there was no way I was giving this to my grandson. I reached out to SCHYLLING via email and after a few email clarifications they send me a new one. Thank you for your great customer service SCHYLLING. I really appreciate you!

Do not order.
Doesn’t work and can not return. Extremely angry as I paid $15 and it doesn’t work at all and the gumballs are cracked and falling apart. Total junk. 0/5 stars.

Really cool
I bought this for my kids we had a real one with a glass globe and my kids might break it so I bought this one until they get a bit older. It's really easy to use it's preset to use quarters. Even though it's plastic it functions very nicely. It came with gumballs as well so that was cool . The price point is very good I think like $15. It's kinda small but I love it for the countertop or like a bookshelf location. All in all it's very Durable and easy to read instructions kids have to use their own quarters or earn quarters for the gum so it teaches them some kind of life skill or lesson I suppose.... Anyway I would recommend and it also looks like you could use small candies like Skittles or runts so I believe it could be versatile even tho I haven't tried it out myself but it's only like $15 so it could hurt to buy it and try. PRETTY COOL

Great size and quality!
We purchased this as a stocking stuffer. It’s a little too big for that, but my kids are going to love it. It’s substantial and great quality! Feels very retro.

Decent little gumball machine. But does not come with gum balls. We bought a compatible carton of gumballs from Walmart, which fit perfectly. Works with quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Not loonies or toonies.

I was a little disappointed, as the number of 'Gum Balls', that come with it, don't even fill it up more than a third. A little disappointed in the 'plastic' as the seams are quite noticeable....it would be better if it were glass. However, after saying that, the coin chamber works, (many denominations will fit) so you can use it as a savings bank, and bubble gum balls you can buy at bulk prices at any superstore. For the price, very Happy. As always, Amazon deliveries are always fast! I am happy with it...works great in any children's room, plus teaches them how fast quarters can add up! When it's empty, we take the 'profits', and put them in a savings account. If they want it refilled, they use their money, to do so. Of course they can just lift the lid off and take them without paying, however, we work on 'Honesty' as well...another lesson. I know how much 'should' be in there, once it needs to be refilled, as I count the gumballs before putting them in. If it comes up short, it creates an opportunity for another lesson. I thought of crazy gluing the top to the base, but then it causes a problem, trying to refill it! So, Honesty it is. A Funny note: Found an 'I owe you' note inside...another lesson....credit, with interest!
