Thick, Potent, and It Works
This stuff is no joke. The Sunny Isle Extra Dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil is thick, rich, and feels like quality right out of the bottle. I’ve been using it for about 2 months now, mainly for my hairline and beard, and I can already see a difference. My hair looks healthier, feels softer, and even some thin spots on my edges are starting to fill in. It’s definitely heavier than other oils, so a little goes a long way. I warm a few drops in my hands and massage it in—no need to overdo it or your hair will feel greasy. I’ve also tried it on dry skin patches, and it works wonders there too. The scent is natural—slightly roasted or nutty—but not overpowering. It’s not “fragrance-free” but it smells like real castor oil. Pros: ✅ Thick and nourishing—perfect for hair, beard, and skin ✅ Works great for moisturizing and strengthening ✅ A little goes a long way Cons: 🔸 Very thick—takes time to absorb, so I usually apply at night 🔸 Can be messy if you’re not careful with the bottle

High quality oil.
I loooove this castor oil. First, if you know anything about oils, they should be in a dark amber glass bottle to prevent oxidation (which this does). Secondly, it’s very high-quality oil. Third, the scent is very mild. Lots of people don’t like Jamaican castor oil because of the smoky scent. But this one it’s very mild and doesn’t bother me at all. Castor oil is great for your skin, reducing pain in your joints, and Jamaican black castor oil is especially good for hair growth. I highly recommend this oil.

Castor oil
I have been using black castor oil for years. This bottle is 8Fl oz, authentic and pure The oil states that’s it’s great as an eyelash and eyebrow serum and skin and hair moisturizer. I have been using Jamaican black castor oil for my hair. This oil grew back my edges in the past and it only took one month. Great for curls. The oil is a bit thick so I mix it with avocado oil and it helps with making the oil thinner. I use a small amount every night in my fine hair after washing. I leave the oil in my hair and I do not rinse out.My hair does feel softer and it’s easier to detangle. You can also use it on your skin for extra moisture which I tried a couple times and my skin felt so soft. The oil is not sticky and its effective Good value here for a nice product.

Good product.
It is evident that the user should be aware that higher viscosity is a natural characteristic of this oil.

It worked on my eyebrow within 2 weeks!
Received my JBCO a few days after ordering it. Shipping was phenomenal. As soon as I received it I immediately started applying it to my scalp and eyebrow where I once had a bald spot in it since i was a toddler. When I was a child a iron fell onto my head when i was tugging at the cord, so it fell down from the ironing board onto me. I've had a bald spot in my eyebrow since forever! I always cover it with eyebrow powder though, so it wasn't really an issue other than me knowing a bald spot actually existed. I can honestly say within two weeks the bald spot in my eyebrow is completely covered I can not yet say that for my scalp. I have some issues with my scalp and I went to a dermatologist office and they were giving me between 15-18 shots in my scalp monthly for 3 months. Because they said i had alopecia traction because my locs were being done incorrectly. I'm not sure if I would agree with that theory because I have always had issues with my scalp even as a young child. In the 80's The Jheri Curl was very popular and so my mom got that hairstyle put into my hair. The chemicals for the Jheri curl was so harsh on my scalp that it burnt my scalp and I grew crusted sores in my scalp. My scalp has always been sensitive. As a teenager of course I did the usual and put the chemical perm and hair dye in my hair and it was totally fine on my scalp up to 13yrs ago when I decided to live more of a natural lifestyle of being chemical free and eating more of a organic diet. For the last couple of years I have noticed my hair thinning out and I'm not sure if it is heredity or what. My mom hair has completely thinned out to the point of being bald in a lot of areas, so she wears wigs and so have some of my aunts hair. So I'm not really sure if it is alopecia traction or what. But what I can definitely believe that it is NOT from my locs being twisted incorrectly, because I usually wear my hair Freeform. My hair only gets twisted 3-4 times a year, if that. So maybe perhaps this JBCO will work and do magic on my scalp, because I'm not completely sure what to do next if the condition worsens but get a hair transplant. I am only 31 yrs old. I wash my scalp with Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Shampoo and prewash as a conditioner with coconut milk. I just started using coconut oil, tea tree oil (for sensitive areas in my scalp) and JBCO on my scalp. I can honestly say my scalp feels refreshed. So as of right now I am satisfied with the product and will give it 6 months to see what actually becomes of it. If this brands doesn't work efficiently for me I will try the Tropic Isle brand and see what that does.

I would buy it again
I mix this with my blue magic and I can see the difference in my local. I apply it to the scalp. The texture is a thick consistency but is lightweight. My hair has been so healthy and the roots where it was thinning have thickened up. I feel like the moisture level is about the same as any other oil. At least for my hair because it soaks it up. The bottle it comes in a durable.

Jamaican castor oil
I didn't smell any coconut in it but it did condition the hair so I guess that's what's important.
