I have gone through a few of these cuticle cutters and have found these are the more durable and affordable option, but the main downside to these is that they get dull fast, then making it harder to cut through delicate skin around the cuticle. I have only repurchased this because the nipper blades got dull and were no longer to my liking -- not once did I have any break on me. I just wish the nippers were a bit more sharp, but I understand the precautions behind a product like this. I am sure the best ones are quality, priced accordingly, and access to purchasing them as a non-professional is limited. For the price I cannot complain and will continue to purchase these as needed.

I have had one for travel for over 7 years. I’ve now decided I would keep another one in my purse so I don’t bite off hang nails.

If you tired of the other style of nipper coming apart where the two resistance bars meet, you’ll love this one. It’s sturdy for its small size and won’t come apart like the other style. It’s great.
