I use this so often that I gave up on keeping it inside the really nice box it comes in. It's so pretty that it deserves to be out where it can be seen anyway. It seems to be a very good quality magnifying glass. I love the size of the glass, especially when I'm using it to look at a map. When I find the town I'm looking for, I can also see a lot of the surrounding area, and I often get ideas for additional stops on the road trip I'm planning. This magnifying glass seems to be very well made. The weight of it tells me that the pretty copper rim, thick magnifying glass, and turned wood handle are all solid, quality materials. I just wish that the manufacturer hadn't detracted from the quality of the box by printing in huge letters on the top: High Magnification magnifying glass gift. The box would have been really nice without all that completely unnecessary wording.

This is one of the best magnifying glasses I have ever owned. It magnifies brilliantly and the style is pretty and solid.

I purchased this for a friends mom who turned 80. This is a very nice solid well made magnifying glass and its classy looking. Very nice gift for someone.

This is a premium product, 100%—no plastic anywhere. The handle is real wood, solid and comfortable in the hand, with a weight that feels substantial. The metal has the look of antique brass, and the glass works beautifully for reading tiny print on charging bricks and other gadgets. It even adds a touch of old-world elegance to my walnut standing desk. I use this much more than I thought I would have especially to read the voltage, amperage, and wattage on different electronic items. This is a functional work of art. One note of caution: it’s heavy! I once tried storing it in a pencil holder, and when it tipped, it left a small chip in my wooden desk. Entirely my fault, not the product’s. Just know this isn’t the flimsy plastic magnifier you might expect—it’s the real deal, solidly built, beautiful, and built to last. No regrets at all.

Handle came off after maybe 3 weeks, it will not go back on. The magnification is weak.
