I caught this while it was on sale and I am so glad because this is one of the best phone cases money can buy. We always buy otterbox for our phones and have never been disappointed.

I have dropped my phone onto concrete several times (clumsy) and into a puddle of water and the otterbox was a life saver. have used cheaper models before and learned the expensive lesson that cases are not an area where you want to go cheap.

Great case just to bulky didn't like the belt clip wanted one you slide in not have to pry top to get at phone

Since getting my phone I have been afraid of dropping it because it is so slippery. My case came yesterday and I put it on. The phone fits perfectly. Volume control works well, as does the power button. Everything that needs to be accessible is and the charging port cover opens easily enough if you need to charge your phone or plug in earphones. About an hour after I put it all together I dropped my phone (something I haven't done in years) and the phone landed on its corner....and no problem at all! It fell from about waste high because I didn't put the phone on the holster correctly and it popped out. I think that because it normally doesn't come out so easily. I have to get used to it, but it is comfortable and solid. I actually like the way it feels in my hand. I have big hands, but this is a big phone. I love that it protects the camera by making it recessed in the case without compromising the image, even when using the wide angle.I don't like the instructions. Having had a Defender case for an older phone, it was easy for me. Peel off the soft rubber piece then open the plastic case. You need split the two hard pieces first, after you remove the rubber shell. Then put the phone in, snap the hard plastic pieces together (go around it twice to make sure every snap engages) and put the rubber shell back on. The phone becomes pretty thick, and the wireless charger I have seems to have a problem with it. The only other negative is if you need to change your memory card you will have to remove the phone from the case. I wish they would have made an opening for this like the charging port (maybe they are listening and will consider it). This keeps it out of the 5 star range for me because having the ability to film at 8K, my 400 gig card will fill up quickly when I'm at my kids sporting events, etc., and I'm sure I'll have to change cards more often than I would like (until a 1 TB card drops in price). This is a solid 4.5 stars for me.

I've tried 3 cases before purchasing this one and I wish I'd have bought this first time. I like to have as much protection as possible especially with the S20 Ultra costing around £1400 lol. This is by far the best rugged case around. I tried the Spigen Tough Armor and a couple of other variants beforehand but neither of them were anything close to the Defender. It feels really solid in the hand and fits perfectly with dual layer protection. The camera bump sits safely in the recess and even the charging port is covered with the handy built in cover. Its grippy and feels so well made. It is a little pricey but if you want the ultimate protection for your £1400 investment then a £40 phone case will look like good value in the event of a accidental drop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. 5 stars

This Otterbox for my S20 Ultra is just as good as the one I had on my S9 plus and my iPhone 6s. They have been consistently good. When I had my iPhone 6S all those years ago is when I began to stop paying insurance and take the risk with rugged cases. I tired various cases opting for a Griffin Survivor for a period. But I found it made the phone too bulky, the rubber too grippy and the USB port flaps came off. Eventually I got an Otterbox Defender for it and have not looked back since. I even got my wife using them, although she uses the Commuter series for her phone (and previous).My Defender for the S9 plus lasted from May 2018 and is still going strong in September 2020, with only a slight bit of gape around the circumference where it has been removed a few times.But now I am on my S20 Ultra. This Defender case from Otterbox arrived in the usual packaging.It is much the same design as I am used to. Perfect combination of grip and sleekness. Grippy enough in my sweaty palm, but still sleek enough to slide into my jeans pocket.It is clearly a high standard of protection and looking at the case I have no reason to doubt any of the claims made by Otterbox in regard to its levels of protection.5G works with it. I tried it in Plymouth city centre and the case seems to cause it no issues.The buttons and flaps work perfectly well.The edge is flawless at the moment.A five star product.

I can't upload the photos right now but I have had the case on since day one of my s20 ultra and today I took the case off to clean it and found that the corners and sides of the aluminium housing are all scratched from dirt getting through the case and rubbing. This is not good enough for a premium £40 phone case as this has now damaged the possible resale price of my device. Have always had cheap cases however thought I'd take better care of this device since breaking my last.The fitment is great, at first. Now everyday I find myself having to clip the rubber outer layer back in place as this is a stretch fit that doesn't tighten back up. Heard great things about this brand but I simply can't recommend based on my own experiences, should've gone with the mous case instead.

Bought this 5 months ago. I bought an Otterbox on its reputation and had one before that was effective. This one however doesn't do the basic job of protecting your phone. I noticed today the screen has cracked on my S20. I haven't dropped it much at all so am clueless how this could happen.Given its success I'm not sure why they don't offer a guarantee...oh wait that's right they'd have to pay me and others like me for whom the box is nothing more than a thin veil.The box itself has also cracked in one of the corners.Overall very disappointed

I have just bought a new mobile device and thought I would be responsible and buy a decent case for it to go in. I heard a lot of good things about the otterbox case that made me change my mind from buying from an alternative well known brand the fact the case was on offer was a bonus but now I can understand why although the case has a soft material on the inside that’s the only real protection it has, the clip on the rear is flimsy and expect it to brake after a couple of uses. The screen is open to the elements no protection at all fingers crossed if the phone is dropped it’s either onto something safe or lands rear side down.
