Columbia Women's Bahama Ls

Great shirt! I'm 5'3" and 113 pounds.I bought a medium at first and swam in the shirt. Based on other reviews I bought a X-Small and it fits perfectly. By perfectly I mean, the shoulder seams hit at my shoulder, the sleeves hang over the top part of my hand (maybe a little long but i like the sun protection), and it's not too baggy. I can hold my arms straight out in front of me with no resistance or pulling on the fabric. It measures 16" across the shoulders. One inch below the armpit, it measures 21" across. It is a box shirt with very little tailoring. The waist is about a half inch smaller than the chest and hips. I plan to taper the side seam a little and shorten the shirt. It hangs below my crouch. I will be wearing this shirt in a professional environment so I prefer a straight edge for the hem. If I was wearing this shirt for general outdoor activities, I would not wish to alter it. the fabric is very very light weight and breathes wonderfully. Pocket placement and function are good.

This shirt does run a bit large. I'm 5'7" and 125lbs and purchased an XS. If an XXS were available, it'd be a better fit, but I think the XS is fine because it leaves enough room to breathe and to put a shirt on comfortably underneath.The quality of the shirt is great, too. It doesn't feel cheap at all and can withstand lots of sweat, dirt and all other things experienced with hiking or going on a safari. It's easy to wash and dries quickly as well. The pockets are great, too!The only flaw I find with this shirt are the colours. I've used this shirt on safaris where you're encouraged to wear colours like khaki and olive to blend in with the foliage. Bright colours can frighten the animals, so if more colours were available that'd be great.I'd love to purchase more of this shirt in the future!

I've been wearing this as a swimsuit cover-up: it's lightweight enough that you can wear it in 90+ degree weather and the SPF protection means I don't have to worry about sunscreen on my arms, chest, and back. I've had mine for a few years and it's held up well. My only problem is the sizing is huge (My x-small fits like a large or medium.) It's definitely not the most fashionable shirt, but I've seen women monogram theirs which makes it much cuter.

I am 5'4, less than 120 pounds small fits nice. Length is perfect and the sleeves are slightly longer on the natural color. The fabric is nice and comfortable. I like that the shirt accents the waist.

I'm out in the sun all the time due to my hobby of birding. This shirt protects me from the harsh sun. The shirt provides pockets and loops and button up sleeve arms. Since wearing bright colors is a no-no in birding, the Fossil color keeps me in good standing with other birders. Washes well and dries fast

I bought a similar Columbia shirt in 2017 and bought a small, which fit perfectly. This time I ordered an X-Small because of reviews here. This XS is far bigger than the 2017 size small. I'm 5'4" and slender (118 lbs, with narrow'ish shoulders). I'm having to send it back because it's just too big. I'm very bummed, because I love my earlier shirt and wanted to get another of a different color. Why do all the clothing companies think all women have gotten so much larger in the past 10 years?

I like this shirt. It is great at keeping the sun off. However, it is a long way from wrinkle-free, so when I wear it when traveling, it always looks like I've slept in it. And since I'm quite small and really require a petite version of the shirt, the sleeves are too long for me. But this is normal, and no reflection on the quality of the shirt. I would recommend this shirt to anyone who needs good sun protection in a very lightweight shirt.

I ordered x-small and I'm 120 lbs. This is not snug. Don't be afraid of ordering your size or a size down, you won't need extra room. The shirt is a nice color, true to the picture. It is very light weight and feels cool in hot weather. A buttoning strap holds the shirt sleeves folded up. The only possible drawback is that the seams on the inside are not soft and you can feel the seems more than I like on bare skin. I prefer to wear a tank underneath, which doesn't detract too much from the light weight fabric. I see this as being used to prevent over-exposure to sun. I suppose because of the little bit of extra room, you could fit a shirt underneath if you wanted to wear this in cooler weather. When hiking, it doesn't snag on anything. Even tiny sharp branches slide off of the fabric, so it's great to wear in woodsy settings or when working in the yard, cutting back bushes. It has a very flattering fit. It's not tight or revealing or anything, can't imagine why you'd want that in this shirt, but it does flatter, because it is not overly structured and doesn't have that awful false waist cut into it like so many women's shirts. The straight sides look much better.
