Quality tea with a great taste
I drink a lot of tea and have tried many brands and sources for loose leaf tea. This masala chai is full of flavor and high quality. The blend is great and delicious cup of tea.

Delicious
This may be the best Chai Tea I've ever had. It's strong and spicy, the way chai is supposed to be. It's very high in caffeine which I appreciate, but may not be good for others. One cup woke me up, and by the end of my second cup I was buzzing. The Pumpkin Spice flavor was disappointing because there was no actual pumpkin flavor. It was still ok, but it tasted like a run of the mill black tea. I know there are many instances where "Pumpkin Spice" just means cinnamon, allspice, ginger, and cloves, but to me that's false advertising. I'll most certainly be getting the Chai again, but not the Pumpkin Spice. Keeping the 5 star rating because the Chai was that good.

Not organic, terrible packaging, awful taste
Some of the worst chai I've ever had. I tried to try it over frontier as it advertised USDA organic and climate pleadge friendly. The first thing you notice is the terrible plastic packaging that had awful design. Opening it ripped half the bag open, the zipper is terrible and doesnt reseal, and as soon as you open the bag you realize a terrible non organic smell from way too much fake cinnimin and vanilla (they use flavoring, not orgnanic extract (and cinnimin is cheap, why would you even add cinnimin flavoring?) They dont specify if the real cinninin is ceylon or cassia (i assure you its ceylon though), and with the added flavors it tastes terrible. The tea to fake spice ratio is atrocious. You also cant return this item. In the aftertaste you feel an awful fake cinnimin lingering in your mouth for a largw amount of time. Avoid at all costs if you care any amount about quality. Looks like im going back to frontier brand who actually do use degradablr packaging that doesnt suck, real flavors, good ratio, and an actually amount of tea.

Not a beginner tea but very delicious when brewed properly.
This tea reminded me of several different ones I’ve had from various gift box sets. It’s very rich and strong in flavor. The cardamom is more prevalent than expected but not a disappointment. The cloves was also stronger than expected but still added to the overall flavor. The tea leaves themselves remind me of a gunpowder style tea. It makes for a very bitter tea if it is not brewed properly. I suggest if you like less tannins to only brew for 2-2:30 minutes around 175 degrees. I brew mine at 195 for 2 minutes and it’s perfect with minimal tannins/bitterness.

Great tea, great price
Whenever I have ordered Positively Tea I have always been very impressed with the quality, given the very reasonable prices they charge. My favorite Masala Chai costs $80 per lb. Needless to say, I can't afford that most of the time! While I don't like the Positively quite as much as I like that one, I do like it very much and I can afford to drink it whenever I want. I have ordered several other Masala Chai teas that were in the $30-50 per lb. range, and this one is actually every bit as good for half the price. I only give 4 stars instead of five because I am not a huge fan of the clear packaging. I think an opaque package would be better for the tea. This is a minor point as I usually store it in a tin. The Island Breeze flavor is somewhat disappointing as the only flavor I get from it is Honeybush, and I hate Honeybush. The ingredients led me to believe it would have a stronger fruit flavor but it doesn't. The Cranberry Orange is much better. It actually has a good fruit flavor.

Absolutely delicious
After test a ton of masala chai blends that were either bland or just plain disgusting I found two on Amazon that hit the spot. I will do a separate review for that one. Here’s what you should know: I’m married to an Indian man. We take the chai pretty seriously. Went to the Indian grocery and could not find a brand that matched what I had in India. This one brand was delicious. I prefer a well spiced blend; my son thought the way I blended it was too spicy. I seep it long enough to be very flavorful because I want to taste the spices. You don’t have to do that. But this was an amazing cup of chai. I no longer go to the coffee shop for it. Save time and money plus it is delicious.

No cloves and no black pepper
I should have checked the ingredients before I bought it. No cloves and no black pepper! Heavy cardamom flavor. I prefer both cloves and black pepper.

Close to boutique option for a much better $
I tried to cut off my caffeine input but starting with Chai in the morning. I bought a much more $$ at a boutique shop and became a fan of Chai as my first cup of the day. As I was trying to find a more reasonable option for my newly found morning bev, I came across a few recommendations and landed on this brand/blend. After trying it for a few weeks now, not only is it very close to the boutique option, it is also a pretty good value IMO, and the aroma and flavor is satisfying. It took a couple of tries to get the right amount for my taste as I like my coffee strong. Two full /heaping teaspoons for me is the right amount on a 12oz cup with a bit of 2% dairy is perfect for me. Would recommend to anyone trying out that is willing to give it some time to to work out the right amount to fit taste & strength preference. Full disclosure, this is my first bag and about 1/2 way through it but plan on ordering again and report back if the quality change over time. (Fingers crossed that stays consistent)
