Light weight, strong and easy to install.Has a 2 bolt clamping surface so it holds really well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy Duty *by A***R on February 25, 2025* Used 4 for fishing rod holders on my boat’s T Top. I had the tubes but no way to install on the T Top without out welding the tubes in place. Bolted the tubes to the clamps and had 4 very robust “rocket launchers” for my fishing rods. Worked so well I bought 2 more for my forward deck lights. Now when I put the cover on for winter I loosen the bolts, fold them down so they will not rip my boat cover from the weight of the snow or high winds. Works extremely well. Very well made ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A sturdy, complete product. *by C***L on July 31, 2022* First off, I think a person should know that these units are built of what feels like very sturdy material, aluminum, thick and well put together.Next, you should know that it is a complete kit. You get two brackets, you get a bunch of rubber pads that go inside the brackets, and the pads are of different thicknesses to fit different diameter tubing. So you will find the right fit for your application. Also the units come with the screws necessary to tighten them down.We are going to use them to mount our marine radio on the underside of our t-top.If, for some reason, the radio is enough weight that, with the bouncing on the waves, these mounts should turn, it could be because our rails are very smooth aluminum and even a tight grip might still allow movement. The marine environment is a challenge. But if this happens it is a simple matter to drill a hole through both mount and rail and drive a large sheet metal screw through both pieces to prevent any swivel.
