What's that rattling noise
The base twists until it's almost but not quite snug so that it rattles when you drive and pops out when you adjust your phone. Wound up pealing off the foam rubber pads from the Miaodam and using them on a weather tech phone holder that did not have exactly the right cup holder size. Worked like a charm.

Not sturdy.
The piece that holds your phone/GPS that connects to the neck of the cup holder attachment falls off easily.

Well, It did not cost much
This item meets the bare minimum requirements to keep me from sending it back. There are three rubber pieces that have to be stuck on to the base. The first time I installed it, two of them slid off. The glue or the plastic surface does not hold well. I put them back in place and they are still on for now. The stem and phone holder have a lot of wobble in them. Trying to press buttons on the phone screen while it is in the holder is not easy. It moves a couple of inches each way so it is swinging around as I drive. So I would not recommend it and I would not buy another one, but at the price, I will put up with it for a while.

It wobbles a bit...
Ordered this for my mini cooper as there is not a large area to place a phone.. unfortunately it is a bit wobbly so it makes looking while driving hard. I would not recommend or purchase again.
