It did not match the faucet but worked great for a very long time. Until more recently with the thickened dish soaps that are not the right viscosity for it. We are very pleased with some Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures we have, so we decided to try a Hansgrohe kitchen dispenser. My husband had no problems installing this replacement, and he was impressed with the quality. As others have noted, there is a rubber gasket at the tip that prevents soap from dripping and keeps it primed so that it comes right out immediately at the next use, even over night.
