ARCSSAI ARCSSAL Brown Leather Repair Kit for Furniture – A Life-Saver for My Sofa!
I recently used the ARCSSAI ARCSSAL Brown Leather Repair Kit to fix a tear in my beloved leather sofa, and I’m beyond impressed with the results! If you’re dealing with scratches, tears, or cracks in your leather furniture, this kit is an absolute game-changer. Here's why I’m so happy with my purchase: Easy to Use: The kit comes with clear, simple instructions, which made the repair process a breeze. It includes everything you need: leather adhesive, color compounds, a spatula, and even a backing cloth for added reinforcement. The step-by-step guide was easy to follow, and I had my sofa looking good as new in no time. I was especially pleased by how quickly I was able to complete the repairs—less than 30 minutes for a tear that had been bothering me for months! Excellent Color Match: One of my biggest concerns when buying a leather repair kit was whether the color would match my sofa. I have a brown leather couch, and I wanted to ensure that the repair wouldn’t stand out. I was thrilled to find that the brown color compound in the kit was a perfect match for my sofa! After mixing the colors as instructed, the repair was nearly invisible. The color blended seamlessly with the rest of the leather, and I didn’t have to worry about noticeable patches or mismatched hues. It’s amazing how well the kit restores the leather to its original appearance. Durable and Long-Lasting Results: Once the repair was done and the adhesive set, I could feel how strong and durable the patch was. It adhered to the leather tightly, and I didn’t notice any peeling or lifting, even after using the sofa daily. The repair is flexible, so it moves with the leather as I sit or adjust, and it hasn’t cracked or come undone at all. I’m confident that the repair will last for a long time, and it’s much more durable than I expected from a DIY kit. Versatile and Multifunctional: While I used it on a tear in my sofa, I can see this kit being useful for other leather furniture as well—whether it’s a chair, ottoman, or even leather car seats. The kit works on both small and larger repairs, and I can imagine it being a must-have for anyone who wants to maintain their leather goods. The flexibility of the kit means I’ll be able to use it for future repairs, too, which is a nice added bonus. Overall Thoughts: The ARCSSAI ARCSSAL Brown Leather Repair Kit completely exceeded my expectations. It’s affordable, easy to use, and delivers results that look professional. The repair on my sofa looks flawless, and the color match is spot-on. I’m so relieved to have fixed the tear without having to spend a fortune on reupholstering or replacing the furniture. If you’re dealing with any leather damage, I highly recommend this kit. It’s a quick, effective, and budget-friendly solution that will breathe new life into your leather furniture. It’s saved my sofa, and I’m confident it will work just as well for your leather goods!

Good enough for me
20 times I’ve seen on TV how you can patch a leather couch with some kind of pasty painting looking thing. Always thought that it looked kind of fake on television. But when our leather couch got split in it, I decided to try this. It actually worked pretty well. But, it didn’t really last. I’m not sure if it’s meant to. It probably lasted about a month or so maybe two. But, I also have kids who jump on the couch. So what can you say? Luckily, it comes with plenty of the liquidy stuff. So, when we were going to have a party, my wife reminded me that I had to repatch the couch. So far, we’re coming on a month and it still looks pretty decent. I also used it to cover some scratches. I’ve never compared it to anything else so I’m not sure if it’s a value for the money. But it’s way cheaper than buying a new couch just to fix a hole. I don’t mind doing this a bunch of times until my youngest gets old enough to stop jumping on the couch. So in that way, I guess it is value for the money. It was pretty easy to use. They give you a color chart so that you can try to match it. If the couch is older, like ours, you may have to make several different mixes to get a good match for different spots on the couch or whatever it is, you’re trying to patch up. But all in all it’s pretty good. And if you don’t get the color just right and you have kids, you can just blame it on them and say they spilled something on the couch or something like that. That’s what I told my wife when she said “the match is not perfect.” You can see from the picture that my patch job was not perfect. But, it definitely was good enough.

Works well and good color match.
Used this on a couch for cracking. Some tips: 1) Use clear PVC repair glue as a base under and around the damage and to fill the hole where the old vinyl tore out 2) Pull off any big pieces 3) After drying hit it with this stuff as a top coat. Mixing the colors lets you color patch closely 4) pick up a small iron, cover the repair with no-stick baking paper (like for cookies) then hit it with heat. Maybe slip in a small block of wood under it. The heat will melt everything together and give a nice texture, so everything sticks better. You can skip the filler part, but it will take a LOT of coats to get things built up.

not a permanent fix as it can rub off with wear
Very easy to mix and matched my dark brown leather well. It originally repaired 3 rips I had in my leather sofa but eventually rubbed off, because we sit on the couch daily, so the holes reappeared. This would be perfect if the area is not used often. My cat also put claw holes in the arm, and those were covered nicely and did not rub off.

Repairs holes in leather couch
Our old leather couch had a crack that ripped causing a hole that was about 1.5 inch long. I used a bit of the backing fabric that came in the kit and mixed up some of the filler to match the color of our couch. It took a few applications to fill and repair it (could maybe even use more to fully fill it), but it worked. The hole is patched and it has held up to heavy use from kids and dogs for 2 months now. It also works to recolor places where the finish has started to crack and wear off the leather. This has refreshed our old worn out couch and it looks pretty good, I’m very impressed with the result. Th instructions were easy to follow and it’s easy to use, comes pre-mixed in several colors that can be combined to make just the right shade to match any color. It also comes with a lot of the product so there’s plenty left over to touch up again when needed. Good value to extend the life of leather furniture.

Amazing product!
I had a small tear in my fake leather bar stool. Dark brown in color. I was able to use the standard dark brown to repair the small tear and it looks perfect now! Great product!

Lack of supprt and easy to understand instructions
My recommendation is to NOT purchase this product. The instructions included DO NOT provide step by step information. It does not indicate on how to apply the backing with the adhesive compound, and the color matching chart does not clearly indicate the secondary color. The instructions state to look horizontally to determine the primary color and then vertically to determine the secondary color. My primary color is Tan and unlike a look up chart, if you go to the secondary color, it indicates Tan as well. I contacted the manufacturer with my concerns and all they indicated was to look at the online video. The online videos that I could find doesn’t show the use of the backing piece only filling in a small hole with the matched color. My email simply asked for a step-by-step process. When do I use the adhesive compound? And how do I interpret the color matching chart? Finally, do I mix the color with the adhesive compound or is this done once the adhesive compound sets? I did not receive what I would call answers to my questions. So, I never used it and it has been returned. Stay away from this company as the speak highly about their support but I only received one email from them and it took 2 days for that to occur.

Did the job.
Used this to fix my mom’s old leather couch. I have no experience or expertise. This was a large area of wear. I was able to use a very strong “duct” type tape underneath, a 3M industrial tape. This helped. There is no real structural strength to this adhesive material, so when you can back a hole or tear, I would. Then I kind of read the instructions, but did it differently in process. The little spatulas they give were not big enough for my use, so I used a putty knife. It was ok. If you use your finger’s you get finger prints in the goo. You will probably end up with ridges between spatula strokes. I think the trick is the part of the directions where you can use alcohol to melt the surface a little to smooth it out. This went a long way. Lasted a couple years, and then got sold on.

Junk, avoid. Wish I had just bought a more premium product.
Complete garbage. Everything was unusable aside from the white colour. All of the seals were not intact, and the colour inside had gone hard.
