These boxes are great for holding your ammo and you can get the in all caliber sizes. I read one review where someone complained about it being hard to get the ammo out of the slots but I have no problem at all. I think he may have been using the wrong size ammo box for what he was putting in it because I have used 3 different size caliber boxes so far and have never had a problem. If you buy ammo in bulk then you know it almost always comes loose and not individually boxed so these are great to fill up and put in your big ammo box so when you want to go shooting you can just grab a box and put in your range bag or whatever and it makes it so convenient. Most of these boxes hold 100 rounds each until you get into the larger size rifle calibers like 7.62X39 which those boxes hold 50 rounds. These boxes are made solid and latch snug every time. They even come with stick on labels so you can easily see what caliber ammo you have in it plus it also has a card that you can fill out with all the information like the brand ammo, grain, etc. and it lays inside the box on top of the ammo so you can keep up with different types of the same caliber, like if you have some that is for practice shooting and others that you would use for home defense. I have ordered over 12 of these boxes in different sizes so far and plan to order more as needed.

I bought a few of these to store some 9mm / 45acp ammo in from my range packs that I normally buy that come packaged loose. I like to eliminate the cardboard boxes and place the ammo in these boxes to be able to carrying more easily in my range bag, or store in another locked container during transport or short term storage. The quality for the price is not bad, it is plastic and made to fit multiple calibers of ammo. A nice option to avoid having loose ammo rolling around or falling out of open, unfinished range pack ammo boxes.

Well made product as are all MTM products I’ve used. Fits cartridges well.

Perfect fit for the 223 or 556 and holds 100 rounds, great price looks great and after you put your ammo in you still have clearance when you close the lid for desiccant packets

I was hoping that since I bought the 50 cal ammo can from MTM as well that this case would conveniently fit into the can. No such luck. There really isn't any way that you can arrange multiples of this case efficiently in the ammo can so as to maximize storage. The case itself is fine and does the job rather well, plus it seems to be very sturdy. The see-through lid on the case makes it convenient to see just how much ammo is in the case without having to open it. I would rather have given up some capacity in terms of number of shells stored in the case to be able to stack them neatly into the ammo can. If the case fit well in the ammo can I would give it a 5 star ratting.

Excellent ammo storage solution! It’s durable, secure, and keeps everything well organized. The latch closes tightly and the box feels tough enough for regular use.

I store my 5.56 NATO cartridges inside this box. It is not the tightest fit for each cartridge, but each cartridge does not scatter around the box if flipped around. There is space to put a desiccant pouch inside the box full with 100 cartridges as well.

Great for Rem 223 rounds. Well made. Good hinge. Would buy again.

Not a big deal, but I am picky and the item lid was scuffed.

Does not fit 7.62x39 with the bullet tips up. Should be ok for smaller calibers.
