Seems to work well for Carbon Fiber applications
I was in search of a silicone based adhesive to replace the sticky adhesive strips that attached a carbon fiber gurney flap to the spoiler of my Mustang. I found that the strips left a gap for debris to get in between the gurney flap and the spoiler, causing the adhesive properties of the strips to lose integrity and risk having the gurney flap come off while driving. I noticed that companies like RWB use silicone based adhesives when installing wide body panels on Porsches, so I thought the same concept should apply here, just with carbon fiber…and a mustang. Turns out my hypothesis was correct and (so far) this stuff seems to adhere fantastically to both the spoiler of the vehicle and the carbon fiber gurney flap, leaving no gap whatsoever and yielding a near-flush fit of the gurney flap. If you have ever used caulk or applied a bead similar to caulk you’ll have no problem using this stuff, any runoff is easy to clean up and was not messy for me whatsoever. All I did was wait an hour for the silicone to dry just enough for it to become rubbery, and it pulls right off from the paint. While this was great for cleanup and a clean finish I hope that the silicone adheres strongly to the paint over time without damaging it, but for now it seems rock solid.

Great stuff
It’s permatex works like it should, great for making gasket or as and adhesive on car parts

Good
Bought this specifically for my door seal on my car. The seal stickiness wore off and instead of getting a whole new seal and whatnot, I decided to get this and it works perfectly. Good product the only reason I give it 4 stars is because the nozzle is a 1 and done. Its not like super glue sticks where you can cover the nozzle and use it again. Should've added like 3 or 4 nozzles just for future uses because not everyone is using this entire tube in 1 go. Either than that I am satisfied with my purchase

Good bond
I like this product. However is does cause kind of a mess so be careful. It holds pretty well and dries down pretty quickly but not so quick that you have to move super fast.

Don't use it on your shoes!
This stuff is NOT the same as Shoe Goo. For a while now I've been almost resoling some back soled shoes (they're no longer made) with Shoe Goo as I have over pronation and the back side of the heel wears out fast. I often would rebuild the heel with SG, then during the first walk it would sort of sand itself back to smooth and blend right in. Foolishly, I tried doing the same thing with this stuff and it behaved very differently. Where SG is more like liquid rubber, this stuff is more just like black caulking. So it rebuild my heel but rather then sort of sanding down like a normal shoe sole (or SG) it instead just sort of tears away and rips. It still sticks to your shoe (so far anyway) but it will forever look messy. I learned my lesson here, as is often true, you get what you pay for. Back to Shoe Goo I go. I'm sure this stuff is great for other things, but I would strongly not recommend it for shoes. FWIW, I don't think they do either but I saw a reviewer or two here who did. There were some parts of the shoe where the sole was pulling away and I tried to sort of glue those spots like I do with SG and it sadly failed there too.
