After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant about the product. I assembled it at home in case I needed tools. I had it put together in about 20 minutes. Having a few of the shelves a little warped made the final product stiffer once it was assembled. I found the screws worked fine but you need to be a little patient. Overall for the price its a good product and I would recommend it.

Although this product isn’t the highest quality for the price, I’m still giving it 5 stars because it exactly what it’s supposed to be, an efficient way to organize rolled files, maps, or plans. The people complaining about it taking 2-3 hours to assemble must just not have any mechanical sense because this wire rack can be completely assembled in 15-20 minutes tops with a single screwdriver. And as far as screw holes not lining up or the finished product not coming out as planned...I’m pretty sure that’s just user error.

I was looking for an easy storage system for my fly rod fishing tubes, and this works great! It is not a particularly well-constructed product - feels like something that should cost half as much as it does - but it is quite functional once you get it together, and is not the kind of file that will take a lot of abuse so I think it will be fine. Assembly took about fifteen minutes and was pretty simple, but the sizings are not quite right and you need to wrangle it together a bit.

I was hesitant about ordering this after reading other reviews. However the competing roll file (the one with the fiberboard end panels) is rated worse by customers and costs 3-4x as much. So I went with this one. I made the right choice, but not before experiencing significant frustration. The problem was with the assembly. Two of the holes in the side braces were not tapped correctly. As a result the provided screws could not be inserted. Most people would have returned it at this point, but that would have meant further agony. So I was able to find two screws that were slightly smaller in diameter and still were able to screw tightly. (See photo.) Whether they’ll hold I don’t know but I don’t plan on rolling my cart much. A few drops of black paint could camouflage the substitute screws. I don’t have any way of knowing how common this issue is, but it was extremely frustrating. Some have commented that the holes don’t line up correctly. While this is true, it is a minor issue and is remedied by gently pulling the trays into alignment. The casters, as well as the entire cart, are cheaply made. I was able to roll it on carpet with only slight difficulty. I’m sure it would be easier on a smooth floor. The casters do have a locking mechanism which is a nice touch. So while low quality, they do work. I experienced no problems with the cart supporting reasonable weight (see photo). A few of the tubes in the photo have rubber mats inside and probably weigh 5+ pounds. Although the cart is cheaply built, I had no issues with the metal bending as others have mentioned. And it does look nicer than a cardboard box. Before I bought this I tried to locate a similar, but higher quality cart. I was unable to find one. So for the price this cart does what I want it to. I am reasonably satisfied with my purchase. I certainly can’t give it 5 stars due to the cheap build quality. I really wanted to give it 4 stars since I think it is a better product than some reviewers have felt. But the assembly issue, which resulted in a 30 minute job taking 3+ hours, forces me to give it only 3 stars. Adequate but could be much better; worth the price.

I ordered 2 of these and they work perfect for my backdrops. I also ordered the Safco cardboard one before these and it was flimsy and overpriced. This product was sturdy and my husband and them put together in just minutes.

It was a bit of a pain to assemble but it works well for my purpose. I am using this to organize rolls of cork leather and it works beautifully.

Item arrived warped which made this very wobbly. Also, the shelves had wires that were not attached (defective) and so they were just poking out (and sharp). Wheel parts were snapped off (broken). Unusable and had to return. Since I was looking for something to hold my photography backdrops, I gave this product another try and ordered a replacement. I thought it was possible that this was just an isolated case of poor quality. Nope, this is just very poor quality - period! The second one that I got looked worse than the first one. I don't know how you can try and sell garbage like this?!

Very easy to assemble. Straight forward directions. Very functional. Definitely a good buy
