Q: How do the sizes run?

I normallly wear large clothing so I ordered large armor guards they were too big for me. I sold them to a very rotund gentlemen. And they worked fine for him. I orders mediums and am happy with those. I haven’t gotten to use them yet. Thank you COVID-19!

Q: Are these good for self-defense?

Not much reason to buy them other than self defense. They are padded and would reduce the pain of something like a baton strike. They also protect the knuckles to some degree for punching but not the best for that. I use them when training with my Kali sticks and they work well for that.

Q: How do i pick a size?
