Fitz and M4 standard stock thought it was kind of flimsy at first wasn't exactly sure how to put it together could have had better directions or some directions at all but if I did get it to go together correctly found out it was very simple has a nice little spot for your cheek. Not sure if they come in in black but black would be nice

Palmetto state armory stocks are thicker so the attachments ie: qd, sling loop cannot connect.

Takes a bit to fine tune this on a standard mil spec stock but it works and looks kinda like a SOPMOD stock after install

I would probably give it a 4.5 star rating, however a simple 4 star doesn't do it justice to me. The only con being the cheek weld is obviously not as smooth on top as a magpul, but you're paying half the price, and it still feels great. I was worried about beard hairs being pulled, but it clamps so tight to standard AR/m4 butstocks I don't have to worry about it. The "waterproof" battery holders are made for shurfire 123 batteries. To me, I'll never need the 6-8 surefire batteries that it's slotted for, so I'm modifying one side to hold AA's. Those are the only two minor cons, otherwise it was exactly what I needed.

This is a great way to improve a factory AR stock without spending much. It provides a great cheek weld, fits really well, (at least on a smith and wesson stock it's super solid) it's lightweight, and the sling mounts seem to be really solid. Like another reviewer said, I wish the battery compartments held AA as well as CR123, but that's a minor complaint. The color is slightly lighter than magpul FDE, but close enough. This was a perfect addition to my rifle until I bite the bullet and buy the VLTOR I really want.

This is made for a full collar butt stock....I've a Battle blade type..thought it would fit, nope. The other full stock worked well with this accessory yet it did not serve as the cheek piece for me. So yes a good item just not for me.

The Idea of the product is good. The design is good and its easy to install. The material is a little thin and seems like it could break if you drop it and it lands on the thinner part of the cheek weld. Over all it feels good when your on target and shooting, and fits snugly to the stock.

I like the item and it looks good on my M&P 15. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was installation. It was difficult to install and get it flush with my stock on both sides. The screw holes did not line up easily and that was making it tilted on my stock. After some time working with it (frustratingly so) I was able to get it straight on the stock. It is secure on the stock once it's on straight. The instructions left room for improvement as well. Overall not a bad purchase just a pain to install.
