Great Compendium Of Green Architecture, But
This is a great reference on current and recent past trends in Green Architecture. It is a great book, excellent images and reasonably nice descriptions of the individual projects and the architects. Exactly what one would expect from Taschen. My one complaint, not thrilled about the new formats Taschen is using of smaller books. Architecture and design deserves large format images. I use these mostly for reference and inspiration, sort of a launching off point to get ideas, larger formats are better suited to this process, the smaller versions, don't really invite my curiosity as much. That being said, flipping through it in tandem with what you can find online gets the job done.

It could be an interesting and informational reading for anyone but for those Architecture students who are interested in sustainable and organic design it is very useful.

Ich habe mir das Buch ursprünglich als kleines Coffee table book geholt und dafür ist es einwandfrei und macht viel her. Inhaltlich stöbere ich gerne darin, wenn ich in der Entwurfsphase neuer Bauvorhaben bin und erwische mich entgegen des eigentlichen Kaufgrundes sehr häufig dabei, wie ich das Buch durchblättere, auch wenn es kein klassisches Buch mit Fließtext ist. Das allgemeine Layout, die Projektauswahl, die ausgewählten Fotos und die Beschreibungstexte sind sehr ansprechend und schön gestaltet. Klare Empfehlung :)
