Experience the power of 10! Intel's NUC 10 is built to excite, enhance and exhilarate! It has a SIX-core processor (50% more than previous NUCs), with each core running at 1.1 GHz. This makes multi-tasking a breeze. Yet, it can spin up to 4.7 GHz when maximum processing power is needed. This is also the first NUC to support 64GB of memory (twice as much as previous versions) and at a higher speed (DDR4-2666 Mhz). With a new USB-C port on the front you can transfer data at 10GBps! PLEASE NOTE: This product has NO analog (3.5mm jack) sound. If you would like a USB to 3.5mm dongle in order to plug in speakers or a microphone, simply send us a message, and we will gladly send you one. If you’re using HDMI you will get digital sound through it. This model holds up to two drives: one M.2/NVMe and one SATA III drive, which can be either an SSD or a HDD. Now, using the Thunderbolt connection and a Multi-Stream Transport hub, or USB-C monitors, you can display 4K 60hz content on up to three displays. (We prefer Anker hubs and adapters.) Through the HDMI connection you can get up to 7.1 surround sound! In short, Intel has created another mini-beast that’s sure to please everyone from office personnel to the home theater enthusiast. Plus, Tech Wizards at The Lake, which is a Gold Level Intel Technology Partner, automatically enrolls your NUC in our exclusive free "Upgrades for Life" program. That means we provide free labor for upgrades on your memory or drives. You simply pay for shipping both directions, send us what you want added or swapped, and receive your upgraded machine back within 2-4 days after we’ve received everything. NOTE: The only way to upgrade the graphics processor on this model NUC is to use an external graphics processing unit (eGPU). If you’re looking for a NUC that holds a discrete graphics card check out the NUC 9 line.

Powerhouse
There’s really nothing negative I can say about this little NUC. It’s amazingly fast and versatile while taking up very little real estate. I primarily use for remote telescope control and image acquisition. It’s mounted on a tripod leg of my telescope outside on my patio and I connect to it from inside the house via Remote Desktop on my laptop. I’ve installed all of the software and drivers necessary to both control my telescope mount and to capture images of deep sky objects. After my imaging session is done, I bring the NUC inside and plug in a portable monitor, keyboard and mouse and begin the process of stacking and post processing my images. This little powerhouse of a NUC handles large images (up to 250MB each) with ease. I’m able to stack dozens of images in a matter of minutes and post process the final .tif file in PixInsight and Photoshop CC with nary a hiccup.Love it!

Great Desktop Replacement
Not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting a small device that would adequately run Win 10 Pro for a single user. I've got two VMs running simultaneously and neither user is complaining of performance. One of the users is working large spreadsheets and Access (no comments) databases throughout the day. This has allowed to move from 216 square inches of desk space to just 23 square inches that was available on my computer rack. I'm about to order one more that will save another 110 square inches and free up the table.Bonus: Personal note from the company about their process and ability to help. I don't recall ever getting that from Dell, HP, Lenovo, or ASUS.Added bonus: No bloat and up to date with patches. Out of the box, this machine was ready to use in about 15 minutes. A different NUC I purchased (different requirements) took about 4 hours to get all updates applied and bloatware removed.

Caveat Emptor!
After two months, motherboard failure, hard drive failure. New technology manufacturing flaws. Beware. Newegg third party sellers do have customer service or return policies. Caveat Emptor!
