Worked Well For Us. Pulled In A Large Number Of HD Channels
Nice antenna. We got rid of cable TV years ago and opted for streaming services. Downside was we always lacked the ability to receive the local, over the air stations in our area. Solution - a digital antenna. This one solved our problem nicely. After I connected it to our TV it helped pull in well over 70 digital broadcast channels. When I moved it to our attic, the antenna pulled in even more stations. To be fair, I live in a major metropolitan area, so there are lots of TV stations within 100 miles of me broadcasting multiple HD channels. So if you’re in a more rural area, you may only get your local, digital stations. But still, an antenna is worth it if you’re a cord cutter and want the local stations. This antenna does the job nicely.Assembly was not difficult. It came in few pieces and I was able to figure out how to put it together from just looking at the picture. Can’t speak to its outside durability as I installed ours in the attic. But it looks like it’s made well and would survive being outside. I’d read other reviews from people who mounted their’s outside to get a better idea.Overall, a decent antenna. Especially if you can pick it up on sale. Would recommend.

I'm Impressed with This OTA Antenna
OTA = Over The Air...verses cable, satellite, streaming, etc.I was recently a tech with a very popular satellite TV company. We also installed OTA antennas and often had to struggle to get OTA channels to come in well when the location is 50+ miles away from big city TV broadcast towers. This antenna seems to be a very good one... putting it together might be a bit confusing for some, but so far it seems worth the trouble. Now this product does NOT have a built-in amplifier (but that's one of the reasons I like it). Sure, a built-in amp might draw in a few more channels (or make some a little more clear) but it also means it will need to plug-in to electric power somewhere.I am 45 miles away from several TV towers and this manufacturer recommends trying the antenna indoors before installing it outdoors (which is always smart). I picked up over 40 channels indoors and the picture was perfect on most of them. I haven't installed it outdoors yet and that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation... but I will update this post once I do have it installed. I expect over 100 channels but it's really not about HOW MANY channels you pick-up, it's HOW MANY CHANNELS YOU WANT that you pick up. I happen to know that living outside of Houston TX there are only about 20-30 local stations that I actually want... many of the others are foreign channels or shopping networks that I would never watch.Even the best OTA TV antenna can't help signals much if you are 200+ miles from no where. But so far I am pretty happy with this product. I bought the full-install package that came with the mounting pole, brackets, and 40 feet of cable. I was pleasantly surprised they even included things like "pitch-patch' which are little tar squares to be placed between the roof and the mounting plate screws before it is tightened down. There are even mounting clips (and a few zip ties) to help with running the cable from the antenna to the splitter (which is also included with the mounting kit). The only thing that could make this better is a having a few more specifics on antenna assembly, so you KNOW exactly which antenna sections connect to the others and which end faces which. Also, there were no instructions for the mount kit but other than a wide variety of screws the kit looks fairly simple.* UPDATE* Nearly 5 months later and I am still happy with this OTA Antenna. Nearly every channel is crystal clear high definition. I have had zero problems except for a few occasions, when storms seem to have affected the reception of one or two distant TV stations, but those are far and few between. I'm sure you can buy bigger, better, more expensive antennas... but I still recommend this antenna and am quite happy with it.

Came quickly, assembly easy.
Bought this for placement in the attic. The signal was not strong enough so bought a larger one. Even than had to use a signal booster. A real plus for this is that it comes with a mast and 25' of decent coax. I kept to use to use with the larger antenna and someday may use this on on an outdoor or site closer to towers.

Great reception, getting several channels! Live between Cleveland & Sandusky, Ohio. Had no issues setting it up & a very good value, IMO.

Free channels great value and easy to assemble.
Works amazing, I had a amplified antenna and only received 12 channel. Install was easy, actually use the mount and pole that was for our satellite receiver on the roof. Changed out the 4 way splitter and used the one supplied with the antenna. Took a total of 30 mins to install and now I receive 33 channels. Thats good for our rural area, they all come in clear even when it's raining. Seems to built well and assembly was easy.

Better than indoor antenna
We mounted this outside pointing toward the nearest broadcast city. It works great. We get a lot of channels. It's MUCH better than any indoor antenna we have tried. The coax cable that comes with it is fragile and kinks easy. Be careful with it or buy a better quality.

Antanna good coax bad really bad
The Antanna works great But what ever you do don’t use the coax unless you want to replace it with in days I used the coax that came with it had great reception for two days then no reception I started to look at the coax wire and in every spot that there was a bend the center wire was broken into

Good, old-school outdoor antenna.
Most of the stations in our area come from one particular direction, so this was the perfect solution to bring in over-the-air stations. We now receive over 70 stations with this antenna.
