Almost Perfect
Cons |Unleveled hangers.Sloppy knots.Grungy looking jute rope.Pros |Appearance: Looks nice.Functionality: Drainage holes with optional plugs.Size: Good for graduating 2” plants to 3” pots.Material: Cement.Style: Modern, minimalist, industrial.I purchased these planters to hang my string of Hearts, string of pearls and string of dolphins plants. These were the only hanging concrete pots with drainage holes that I could find in this size. These are ALMOST perfect.Size |My “Sting Of” plants are all smaller specimens (in 2” nursery pots), so these were the perfect for gradually increasing the pot size. The small size of the pots also fit well in a 39” length window without making it feel cluttered.Material |Cement/concrete is my preferred material for growing “String Of” succulents indoors. Its high porousity makes it very breathable.... Yet, it doesn’t dry out as quickly as terra-cotta. I use a rather gritty soil mix, so it enables the plants to get well hydrated without setting it up for the dreaded root rot.Jute Rope Hangers |For multiple reasons, I do not care for the jute rope hangers. To begin, I don’t like the appearance as it just seems a little grungy to me. The knotted ends that attach it to the interior portion of the pots are bulky. Had I kept the soil below the level of the knots, it would have shaded out the plants. I’m also concerned that the covered jute knots could rot (or cause one of the plants to rot) if I’m not careful, so I must be mindful in monitoring this.I ended up trimming the ends of knots in order to avoid having the several extra inches of jute rotting up the soil mix. The challenge I encountered is while pulling on the ropes after trimming the excess ends off. One of the holes was a little bigger than the knot and it pulled totally through as I was tightening it. Untying the knot and replacing it was time consuming and made it hang even more unevenly then it was before.Levelness |The other issue that the jute ropes do not hang evenly. Messing with hanging planter strings is not one of my skill set strengths. I utilized a level tool, but it basically just confirmed that getting it to hang evenly is not attainable. So, for now, they’re hanging crooked in the window and driving me crazy.Modifications |I plan on replacing the jute with steel cables once I figure out what hardware can be used. I’m not sure how to secure them in the holes, but I’m thinking about binder rings (and supergluing them closed once attached). I may just bring one of the planters into my local Ace Hardware and ask one of the associates for suggestions.

So cute!
These are definitely a good buy, IF you got them on sale. Don't get me wrong, they are VERY cute! I will upload a pic soon! I put my super small succulents in them and they seem to be very happy in their new home!

Cute
Like they add to our new plant shelf. The ropes weren't tied so the planters hung even but after untying them, which was a pain, we got them even. Nice planters that are very sturdy.

You have to be kind of precise &intentional with plants in this pot
First of all, I bought this three pack just to use one because only one fit the color scheme of the living room. I did end up using a second one that I just hung, plantless, turns out it matched the office space color scheme. If you look at the pictures attached, you can imagine that if there was a plant in the one hanging, depending on how tall or wide the plant is, the rope would interfere with this the plant. Which is why the pot with no plant is hung but the pot with a plant is on a shelf (which takes the rope out of the equation). I think it’s still a good look hanging or not but understand that if I put a semi-mature snake plant (for example) in this pot and hung the pot, the very ropes that suspend the pot will also impede on the plant’s space. This snake plant could only grow so tall before it meets the apex of the ropes that allows it to be hung.

They are very cute!
Love these!!!! I put them in my bathroom and it looks so nice. Please be aware that when you perches these that the rope stick out a little on the inside of the pot, so if you plan to put a planter pot on the inside it may not fit. What I ended up doing is getting the flexible see through planter pot/bags and that seemed to do the trick since I wasn’t planning to use the drain hole.

Issue with refund
I purchased these to hang above my sink. They arrived nicely and I loved how they looked, however I had bought with the 4 inch set and decided they were too large and heavy. I went to return them, in hopes of then purchasing the 3 inch set. However, when I received my refund, I was only refunded 30% of what I paid, with no explanation. I did not even take all 3 planters out of the box and sent the box back in the exact same condition that it arrived in. I spent awhile trying to figure out how to contact the seller asking what happened, but was unable to find a contact that worked, so I'm leaving a review. If you know for sure you won't return these, they are super cute, but a little heavy.

Heavy Ceramic, really pretty & chic
I used these to put smaller pots into for new plants I got. These are such good quality and look so cute. The ropes are sturdy and thick. Love it.
