This is the 3rd carburetor I have purchased for this saw in the past 2 years. 1st one, I could nto get the thing running at all. 2nd one, it ran, but not well, and the mix screws had nearly no effect on this at all. This one, I set the screws to 1.5 turns out before installing, and it fired up after 3 pulls.. Idled perfectly but wold not rev past half throttle, so the high speed screw had to be turned out another .75 of a turn (now 2.25 out), now it revs perfectly... Will still have to fine tune it when I cut more wood, but so far, this has been the easiest to get going of any I have had, even the original carb did not run as well... Hopefully it stays running for years to come. Will update this review if anything changes...

There's nothing on earth I hate more than trying to start a dang weedeater that won't start. I used to take carburetor apart and try to clean and adjust fuel.. never once was i successful. Im no small engine mechanic but im not an idiot either. Started keeping these on hand. So far, every one of them out of the box was adjusted correctly and trimmers start right up. We do facility and ground maintenance and 9 months out of the year in Tennessee we abuse our fleet of trimmers. The price is fair and they work great. I just throw one on and roll. Saves soooo much time and frustration

Kit seemed to have everything I needed. Carb to cylinder gasket did not match the original aswell as the holes for the studs the mount the carb up to the cylinder were too big a partially covered the bottom port. I reused the existing gasket. Fuel hose diameter was slightly larger an made it very difficult to install but was able to to make it work. For the price you can’t bet it. Saw fired up immediately but have not had a chance to dial in the carb setting. Was nice kit included a wrench to adjust carv

Finally installed it. It’s a good replacement for my tiller. Idle speed is adjustable!

Quick and easy to install. Total install time was maybe 45 minutes start to finish. Fired on the first try. Chainsaw is running like new.

This kit was EXCELLENT. I thought of getting rid of this old chainsaw but decided to give this kit a try. A few hours of elbow grease and my saw is like new. Took it to a local shop and they said just pitch it, not worth it, wrong. Thank you for making this kit available.

Pretty disappointed. For a Poulan 3516AVX this is close, but not right. Fuel lines are too big on the OD. Ended up having to buy some of the right size lines locally (extra $20) Throttle linkage (the little bushing that slides on the shaft) binds 25% of the time. Gasket stud holes are oversized and the gasket slips down and mostly blocks the little vacuum port. The H and L adjustment screws are different sizes. The supplied adjustment tool fits the L screw, but slips on the H screw. Not sure why those are different sizes. You will need to gap the spark plug. I contacted ProChaser about the adjustment tool, and got no reply. Still tuning, but wishing I just spent the extra money on an OEM replacement.

Adjustment wrench doesn’t work,have to take back plate off for my saw every thing else was ok,gas lines work good,now I have to adjust carb so it will idle.

This replacement carburetor is a copy of an older design that has linkage style secondary venturi where the present saws use a plastic lever to actuate it. After shortening the linkage and some other minor adjustments it runs fine.

This part worked great for my poulin p3314 chainsaw. No modifications for necessary and it worked right away.
