Excellent value, solid construction, clean power.
I installed this amp in my 2015 JKU Wrangler. I did a full system install with a new head unit, backup camera, four sets of MB Quart component speakers (four 6.5”s & four tweeters), and a Rockville 800watt 10” sub with a 2.5 farad capacitor. I’ve been running this setup for a month now and I’m loving this amp. It pushes the component speakers really well, I have the levels turned up to about 3/4 to balance out my highs and mids with the sub but the amp definitely can push more than the speakers can handle. I really like the clipping led, it makes tuning so much easier. Along with the clean power and great price point, this amp feels super solid and looks good installed. I’ve been a car audio enthusiast for the last 20 years and I was surprised by the quality of this amp for the price. I’m considering buying the Toro Tech 12” subwoofer and the 500w toro micro amp to power it. If their sub is as good as their amp then I know I won’t be disappointed. Hopefully the price doesn’t go up before I can order them. If you’re skeptical or undecided I can tell you hands down this is a quality product worth buying.

Good for adding wattage to mid/high range speakers.
I was shopping for an amp to make the high frequencies louder as my subwoofer was too overpowering even at the lowest settings. I haven’t upgraded my door speakers yet so I can’t give a great review of the sound quality but it did what I wanted it to do and the price was right. Unless I was spending 5 or 6 times what this cost sound quality isn’t really a concern for the most part. I was looking for more wattage at the best price I could get and this does that job nicely. It’s a little large for under the seat in my 2003 Frontier crew cab but does fit behind the rear seat quite well. It has had quite a bit of use this last month or so and has not given me any issues yet. Did have an issue with engine noise that improved with better grounding but I haven’t been able to totally get rid of it. Most likely not something with the amp just getting amplified by it so no problem there.I would totally buy again and recommend to friends if looking for a budget amplifier. I may upgrade to something better after I get nice speakers if sound quality isn’t good enough but otherwise this should be plenty of power for the four speakers I use it for and I’ll run it as long as it can go. No point in paying way more for something unless something unseen so far pops up.

Great price 2 years ago
I like this amp because it is an Class AB amp that has a clip light on the amp to help to set the gain. When I bought the amp the wattage stated was 75 x 4 4 ohm and 120 x 4 2 ohm but a month or two it was changed to 65 x 4 and 90 x 4 after a YouTube amp dyno. This amp works well to send clean power to factory speakers but lacking for 100 watt rms speakers. The price was a great deal in 2020 but the Toro prices now are insane. I would suggest a RP 75.4 AB or RP 150.4 AB they are both less than $263

Great little amplifier
This is a very nice little amplifier. It puts out real TRUE rated power and it has very good sound quality. It is an actual half bridge amp, not a chip amp like some of the other micro amps so you get good clean power. It also has a built-in clip indicator that is accurate as well as very nice adjustable high pass and low pass crossovers. Distortion is less than 1% THD which is very good. If you need a compact quality amp here it is.

Garbage
Burnt up almost immediately. Less than 30 minutes run time, heard or sizzle while tuning, yanked switched power amp stayed on until main power was pulled. Out of warranty since I didn't install it right away so I plan to open it to find out exactly what happened. Long story short avoid at all costs unless you're ok with wasted money, crap warranty, and possibly burning down your ride

OK for the price
Hi guys:So, I got this amp to run rear fill and front kick panel 4" mids. First off, the birth sheet is blank. But, whatever, right? It seems well built, not even a scratch on it. Delivered fast.1. The outputs use a wire connector with wires out, about 18 gauge.2. The power, ground, and REM connectors are cheap. The ground wire literally was just pulled out. I had to jam the wire in and screw it so tight that it felt like it was going to break. So, tie your wires in place somehow.3. The HPF and LPF don't do anything. The Hz adjuster does make some sound changes, but not consistent with anything really. Don't count on the filters. You will need passives or other active.4. The clip indicator seemed fine. Set the gains, and the clip light stays on no matter what the gain is set at. It blinks blue to steady. My HU is a Pioneer. It's pre-outs don't clip ... safely up to 60/62 volume. The Toro clips no matter what.5. The sound: It amplifies the sound. Sure it does. But, it doesn't amplify the sound very well across the spectrum. If you want any SQ at all, buy something else.Otherwise, it's decent for the price. But, I can't use it because I'm running some expensive gear and don't want my stuff blowing due to overheating from clipping all day and bland mid-range sound. Maybe because it's a class D? IDK.

Cheap, clean power
No complaints at this price point. Not sure how it'd match with higher end parts but running from a pioneer head unit to a set of NVX V series coaxials it sounds fine. Seems to be pushing rated power. Running bridged to my front stage was enough to push the volume to uncomfortable levels.I now have this amp running channels 1 and 2 to my front speakers and channels 3 and 4 bridged to a cheap PartsExpress subwoofer in the rear deck. For less than $200 all in I'm very happy with this setup.

Great Little Amp!
For a small amplifier, it powered a set of 5.25 and a set of 6x9 Cerwin Vega HED series well. Definitely brought the sound to life where the head unit couldn't sufficiently power the speakers. For the price and size, it can be beat!

Looks great but….
After hooking up all the connections, the rear channel rca inputs have a short inside the amp. This made my speakers pop and hum very loudly.

Installed on motorcycle
I had a small pyle amp rated at 300 watts and i could barely hear the music doing 100 km after installing this amp it's double the volume it was before and sounds full and clear if i up graded my 6x9 on the bike it would sound that much better this little amp packs a punch was sceptical at first never heard of TORO amps before but as to the durability and long music play that is to be seen.highly recommended if you have little space and want strong power this unit will do the trick.
