I bought this as a reference for future work projects, and it really is a clear, informative look at the process as a whole, especially coming in with little to no knowledge.

Common sense approach with details on design and troubleshooting
Rotational molding has an expert in the field in Glenn Beall. His book fills the void of common sense approaches to processing, molds, design, and troubleshooting. Mr. Beall's book allows one to build a framework of rotational molding knowledge then fill in the details about materials, rules of thumb on design, particuliarly kiss-offs and ribs, mold design, and other aspects.Particuliarly useful for professionals with experience in other processing techniques, the books gives details on many aspects of molding including but not limited to:-typical interior clearances that allow for material flow,-different styles of ribs, and-"how-to" tips when designing or converting the part from other methods of manufacturing.I combined this book with the newsletters from the Rotational Molding Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers (where Glenn writes a regular column about design for rotomolding,) for excellent resources. I would particuliarly recommend the book for industrial designers and product development professionals.

Excellent for the novice - good for the veteran molder
Being a manufacturer of infrared rotational processing equipment, I found the book to be both concise and informative for the novice, as well as thought provoking for the experienced molder: Specifically, chapter 7: "Predictions for the Future".
