These lights are great for cabinets. Motion sensing feature works great. The lights are bright so you can see what is in the cabinet even if it is completely dark in the rest of the room. They take quite a few batteries to run so that is kind of a downside but at the same time they should last quite a long time before having to replace batteries. There are multiple mounting options but I just used the stick on option. They were very sticky, will stay put once installed. Recommended.

These lights work well in the right conditions. Outside of those "right conditions", they fall short. But, knowing that up front, it's easy to get satisfactory performance from them.In a closet with a door, they are perfect. They detect motion decently well and provide nice light. The batteries will last several months or more.In an open space, they are not very effective. For example, I stuck one under a cabinet above our toilet. There is so much movement in the room that they turn on way too often when they aren't needed. So, the batteries die quick.Some users commented on the adhesive not working well. I imagine they either didn't clean the surface it was adhered to, or they quickly stuck it on and left the light attached to the magnetic strip. This tape's bond increases over time and with pressure. When you first apply it, put the magnetic strip on the bottom of the light where it sits. Peel the backing off, and stick it onto your surface using the light itself to position it. Apply firm pressure for a half minute or so. Then, REMOVE the light from the magnetic strip adhered to your surface. Continue to press on the magnetic strip for a minute or so. Then, LEAVE IT there without the light attached so the bond can increase without the weight of the light pulling on it. Wait until the next day to put the light on the strip. It shouldn't come off if you follow that process.

I love these! They light up all kinds of dark places, closets, cupboards, and the refrigerator. The tape, however, will not stick to very cold frozen surfaces. That's OK. They work better than my original refrigerator light that burned out.I used to have to grab a flashlight to pick out a shirt in my closet. Not anymore. I'm very pleased!

This light has better reviews than many, so I bought it, but it has the same flaw as many of the others. It will only activate in a very dark place. This is unfortunate, because it seems well built and is brighter than the light I was hoping to replace.My main use for this is in a pantry which also has our microwave. It's nice to have a motion-sensing light rather than reaching for the wall switch going in and out. Unfortunately, when it's too dark to read the microwave control panel (don't get me started on the grey-on-black labels), it's still too bright to allow this light to activate.I even thought it might be possible to hack this by putting some grey plastic over the light sensor, but there seems to be only one lens, which means that motion sensing would be blocked as well.Sadly I was too optimistic and I mounted this on the pantry wall before fully testing it. The adhesive is quite strong, and I'll be sending a sizable rectangle of wall paint back with the product. Two solutions come to mind: 1) Have the magnets in the light and supply a steel strip. Then the adhesive would not be needed where ever there is an existing metal surface. 2) Supply command strips or some something similar which can be removed safely.
