Received the product in mid January. Installation was straight forward. Charged the battery fully before starting to use it, which worked great for the first 2 weeks or so. Held a respectable charge with max charge of 100%. About 3 weeks later, I noticed the battery was charging only to 80%. 3 weeks later, I am now at 60%. I have run some of the HP battery diagnostics but does not return any errors. What is very obvious is that the battery time has decreased significantly enough where it's having to either be charged or utilized with the charger plugged in at least 50% - 60% of the time. Not sure if I received a dud, but the return window for this product was 30 days so I do not think I can return it.

This looks like an original OEM battery. These have probably been on the shelf for a while but I followed the instructions to discharge to 3% then fully charge and repeat 3 or 4 times and it looks good. It only charges to about 96% but overall works well.

Update: battery completely failed after less than a year. To stay away from this product would be my advice at this point.First battery only charged to 75% and failed the battery check in UEFI due to blown fuse, whatever UEFI means by that. I did reinstall in couple of times, thinking maybe it was not completely or properly connected, but the problem persisted, so I ordered a replacement. Debated getting a new one from different vendor, but chances are all of these are identical save the label, so I choose not to bother. The new battery arrived, it did not fail any battery sanity checks and now is mostly working. I did several charge/discharge cycles already though and now it refuses to go any further than 92% of charge, despite of all battery saving measures being disabled in UEFI and Windows. I did have very low expectations for the battery to start with and it sure did match them.Consider going with other vendor if you are looking for the battery replacement. This one will disappoint, if my experience says anything. With others, there is an small chance of better experience at least.

I would have give it 5 stars but i have had this battery a short time.

This battery replaced the original in my HP Envy laptop and is working superbly. I can't believe how degraded the original got as it almost required being plugged in to the charger to work. I am getting hours out of a charge on this.Glad I sprung for a battery instead of a new laptop. Much more cost effective.

I have been using this battery for a couple of weeks now for an HP laptop and I am very impressed. I am getting backup times comparable to the original battery.

This battery worked perfect. My Original battery looked like it was ready to burn up and wasn't holding a long charge. The new one was easy to install and now I have much longer battery life.
