First, there are no instructions. Nothing happened when I rubbed it against my skin. Once it dries it turns into a brick. Total garbage!

I was a little skeptical about this product but I purchased it anyway. Used it for the first time and the verdict? It actually works! Per instructions (I have to use a translation service because the printing on the package is Korean), I soaked the sponge in water for a couple of minutes and squeezed the water out before using. It won't work if your skin is dripping wet. Skin has to somewhat damp but without any globules of water on it. I slid the sponge onto my skin gently at first and started to apply a little bit more pressure while sliding (almost rubbing) and I noticed some peeling. I can describe the peeling as similar to when one is using fingers to rub the skin to remove dead skin cells. Sponge is somewhat thick and dense. Price is fair.

Wanted the Made in Japan version, the text on the package is in Korean. It's amazon, what do you expect. Anyways, they worked out fine. just take a long time. Still better than the other stuff that really hurts my skin.

Yes, the instructions are not in English. Someone in the review was kind enough to write out what they were. My sponges came already wet but when it dries out it is rock hard. If it's hard, just soak it water for a few seconds. It will soften up again. Once it's soft use on skin that's been wet but without soap. It does actually work if you use it right. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I personally use it on my face as well because some other exfoliating sponges/ gloves cannot use on the face.

Super light weight. A bit difficult to grip once you start scrubing. Best to preheat your body in the shower, warmly soak the sponge in water and rinse. Then start scrubing. Its perfect for everyday use. It is like a more sensative version to actually exfoliate daily, without the fear of red bumps appearing for scrubbing too much with wash clothe. The trick is to keep soaking and rinsing the sponge. When it start to dry during use, wash it again and rinse then continue scrubbing. Repeat.

Not really worth the money. It did nothing for me
