2010 Ford Focus with Sync- READ THIS
This will not 100% work for a 2010 Focus with sync, though I don't believe Sync is the issue. The red (switched power) wire doesn't align to anything on the car. But there's also NO SWITCHED POWER anywhere in the radio on this vehicle. (There's constant power to the radio face and a relay inside that triggers when the car is started to give it to the radio) My only option was to fuse tap off the sole fuse with the behavior I needed. (Remain powered until door opens) Of which the car has 1- ambient lighting. I was able to locate a wire from 5 of the 8 steering wheel buttons (grey/yellow and the blue/white to ground) but this harness didn't have a wire in the grey/yellow spot, so had to move a pin is all. Never did figure out the remaining 3 buttons and gave up after I blew a fuse. Found a wiring diagram that implied they required some additional components and I was installing a full touch screen so didn't care anyway.Only adding this review to help anyone else facing this same situation. Couldn't find a single harness anywhere that stated it was for this car and now I know why. It still worked, but required modification and a fuse tap. The other options are like $150 and that's just dumb.

Exact fit and match.
Soldered my radios connector to this adapter and it worked like a champ. The connection was an easy fit. No altercations. Went with the manual and the wire colors matched up fine. Instructions were accurate. They even told me to ignore the brown wires. They’re not in use, but at least they are present if you need them. Antenna adapter was spot on. It all worked great. Value for the money is excellent.

Works great and as advertised. 2008 Escape
They advertise that you may need to wire the red power cable to an alternate location with this harness. That is the only flaw. The harness works fine, but I had to buy a jumper fuse cable and wire the red from the stereo to the fuse box. The only problem with this is that the delayed accessories function doesn't work. (so you can't turn off the ignition and listen for a while as the stock radio allows)You can, of course, wire it so that you have to power it on or off. But no one wants to rely on that. Instead, find a fuse that is only hot when the key is in the "on" position.

From a Sony to a 2007 F350 SuperDuty this kit was perfect.
I replaced the CD player with a Sony XAV-AX4000 7-Inch Multimedia Receiver, which was also a perfect fit. I soldered the conversion kit to the Sony wiring harness. It was nearly a perfect match, even the colors matched. The conversion kit had a few extra wires (4 brown wires) for components that I did not have. I just bent them over and taped them off.

WORKED PERFECT for my 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis.
WORKED PERFECT for my upgrade of the factory tape deck in my 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis to a nice Android Auto-compliant dual-DIN touchscreen radio (installing a dual-DIN in the non-standard Ford chassis required a little dremelling with my power drill, but that only took a few minutes). I did not need the antenna adaptor- the factory antenna matched perfectly with the new after-market radio I bought.IMPORTANT NOTE: instructions say that ORANGE/WHITE wire is not used. NOT TRUE! That's the "illumination" wire that puts out 12vdc when you turn on the headlights to signal the radio to dim the screen (important if you don't want your radio's screen to blind you at night!). I put my meter on the four unused brown wires, but they don't seem to do anything (except for one, that puts out a few volts until I put the car in drive, then it goes to zero. Hmm...) I never found any actions in my car that triggered the "PHONE MUTE" wire, so I left that disconnected.

Not for 2009 Mustang with Shaker 500
This is perhaps my lack of knowledge of the system in my car. However I read in the description it would work with 2009 Mustang however it does not. The back of my shaker 500 radio has three wiring harnesses not two. So this left one harness not used. I plugged everything up to my after market radio and it would not power on. I plugged the shaker 500 radio back in, only using the two harnesses which this products fits, and it would power on, but nothing else, no audio, no cd, no nothing, just the clock. In doing further research it appears I need a harness which can accept all three of the factory harness, not just two. Overall, the product is probably great, the wires are of good quality and the harness does plug into the factory harness well. However if you have an 2009 Mustang with the shaker 500 and there is three wiring harnesses on the back of the radio, this product will not work.
