Is OE really better than aftermarket?
I am a certified master technician with over 35 years of experience. Many of you have already found out the hard way that oil cooler failures are fairly common across many poorly designed & inferior quality Chrysler products. This was the 1st aftermarket cooler assembly that I have installed on a customer's vehicle and it definitely won't be my last. There was a time when purchasing OEM parts almost always meant higher quality. But with globalization & outsourcing, that is no longer the case. So in many cases, you just pay exponentially more for the exact same quality. In some cases, aftermarket parts are even superior to OE because they actually improve on known issues. For this particular application, the Chinese made OE part retails for ~3.5 times this aftermarket unit from Evil Energy. So do yourself or your customer a favor by purchasing this unit instead. My only advice is to order the unit WITHOUT the gaskets and get a premium quality intake manifold gasket set from your local parts store instead. I found the furnished gaskets to have a poor fit. Hopefully, they will improve & update the design for the lower gaskets to remain in the intake manifold while manuevering it in that tight space during reinstallation. As for the occasional comments that I read here regarding premature failures & inoperative sensors, it has been my experience that many of those are due to improper installation (overtorquing, damaging the connectors while disconnecting/reconnecting, pinching the harness, etc...) and then blaming the product. To give an example, there's a "professional" seasoned mechanic who works near my shop. Recently, he installed not 1 but 2 water pumps on a customer's Ford Ranger with a faulty fan clutch which resulted in repeat water pump failures in a very short time. The crazy part is that instead of realizing his mistake, he simply blamed the parts supplier (AutoZone) & was compensated twice by filing labor claims!! This is not to say that you won't get a crappy part from time to time. It happens... even with OE parts. Unfortunately, it's just the way of the world anymore (dang... I sound old! LOL!). So the bottom line: I won't hesistate to buy another one of these from Evil Energy the next time another fine Chrysler product comes into my shop with a leaking oil cooler. Best wishes...

Thank U for this!
Anyone who has ever experienced this situation knows the grief in it. This part saved my Jeep! Tested and true! Works great.Installation? Not there fault! It’s a B;$&% ! It’s a know fact through the Jeeper community! You will literally tear your motor apart but once u get there. It’s easy to install. Like I said for this company. Not there fault for the process!

Perfect fit!
The faulty one took longer to get out than the new one. Absolutely no fitment issues. It's only be less than a day but so far so good. I'll update my review if we start experiencing any problems. I did purchase Fel-pro intake gasket sets only because the part was lost in the Oklahoma snow storm so I wanted to have everything ready to go when the part arrived. I'd also read another review stating the provided gaskets were a bit thin.

Exact fit part, easily replaced the damaged original
Takes some work to get to the part, but after removal and cleanup, It dropped into place and even had the correct terminals on both sensors for our 2014 Dodge . No leaks so far. Came with new filter cartridge as well, already installed.

Save big money
The dealer knows of this issue with Jeeps and Ram trucks. They charge $1000 for the job and their part is 700 of it. Buy this one and do it yourself. Remember to drain down anti freeze and oil. This should be a recall item.

Perfect fit, but sensor was bad
Part was a perfect fit, only issue I had was after I put all the engine back together the oil pressure sensor was bad. I went and got a factory sensor and everything was good. Just sucked taking everything off again to get that sensor out.

Great
It worked perfectly. All the gaskets we in place. Fast shipping. Better than going to the part store.
