2009 UK five CD set consisting of a quintet of albums from the American Classic Rock/Progressive band: Kansas (1974), Song for America (1975), Masque (1975), Left overture (1976) and Point of Know Return (1977). Sony/BMG. Review: The Foundation of a collector - I have some of KANSAS' EARLY works ( 3 copies of song for america). So why keep buying. I love the box sets.there portable, incredibly affordable. But Kansas has been on my toP 5 most influential bands we go long way back. There has been personal modifications, the death of Robbie left all the Kansas fans with a hollow feeling but their back with a finely crafted band. The early works has some of the best Prog-rock to learn their growing rate with some extraordinary. Talent. Just starting out? Or a lifetime fan this is some of there best work.............Donnie P Review: Great Music!!! Great value!!!! Beware that the song lyrics and liner notes aren’t included. - So worth it!!! This set doesn’t have the song lyrics and somehow doesn’t list the albums in chronological order on the package. But apart from that it’s great stuff. If you don’t already know, Kansas’ first 5 albums are all fabulous from top to bottom. And that’s what this set includes. Kansas, Song for America, Masque. Leftoverture and Point of Know Return are all classic albums that hold up great. The remastered mix is great. There is a bonus track or two for each original album, Including some extended live versions of some songs that I’ve never heard before. If you want to read the lyrics or check notes, you have to use a phone or some other device. But it’s nice to have such classic Kansas albums on CDs which should last. They’re also easy to load onto a computer. And at about 23 buck for the whole thing, it’s cheaper than buying the albums online where one wouldn’t have the CD backups.

Perfect way to get the first five albums
This is a great, affordable package for anyone who loves the first five Kansas albums. The sound quality is excellent. The CDs aren’t packaged in chronological order, but they’re easily switched if desired.

Great Value
Can’t beat this for the price. I hadn’t heard some of these songs since middle school. Great musicianship. Unfortunately I recall why I never bought allot of Kansas. They will do a spree of brilliant prog rock and follow it up with a southern rock ending (which I personally don’t care for). However, happy with my purchase.

Rock on, man!
Great value for this simple box set. It will make you wonder why you only hear only .0001% of their overall catalogue being played on the radio (100% of the time). Anyway, really solid band with awesome arrangements and songs all contained in this set

This is the perfect Kansas compilation
This is the perfect Kansas compilation for those who are upgrading their old lp collections, for new fans, or for die-hard supporters of this phenomenal band. Epic original Album Classics series has presented the five greatest albums of Kansas in one (reasonably priced) package. While the information is sparse on the cover box, these cds have a re-mastered quality and includes demo and live bonus tracks. I have three Kansas compilation box sets but the Epic series is still the best since it contains all of the Kansas catalogue from 1974-1978. I have purchased Two for the Show and Monolith separately to round out the best of Kansas during this era. I still look forward to a Steve Wilson treatment of Song For America or Masque or Leftoverture or Point of Know Return but until then--this is the best presentation you can get of America's finest progressive rock band-KANSAS.

Discos que forman parte de la historia del rock. La presentación es la réplica en cartón de la portada en vinilo, sin letras ni libreto de fotos, pero con bonus tracks. El precio es imbatible. Totalmente recomendable.
