Sure I know it's best to keep it indoors and It'll have more starting power available BUT that's not as handy as keeping it in a Styrofoam cooler which kind of helps a bit with the daily temp swings in the car. Hoping For The Same! *by W***L on March 13, 2026* I purchased one of these boosters 25 years ago to ensure I could always start my F150. It never let me down. I loved being able to help stranded drivers, too. I told the manufacturer how long it lasted and that I wanted to buy a replacement. He was shocked. He told me they are only designed to last 2 to 5 years. What did I do? I told him I always fully recharged it after use. I never left it plugged in for long periods of time. I never fully drained it. Will this one last as long? Who knows.
