AquaBeads 3D Animal Set (AB31447)

My daughter LOVES aquabeads! We've purchased a variety of the sets over the last year and she can spend hours working on her creations. And while I love the concept of this one, the execution is a little difficult. For anyone that has used these beads before you know that you have to wait until they are kind of dry but not all the way dry to get them off the trays or they stick and you can risk breaking it apart. Well, the bowl feature of this little tray makes that a lot harder. You can't really dig it out without breaking it if it is still soft and if you wait til its completely dry it won't come out at all. I'm sure we will figure out the sweet spot in timing but the picture of them just flipping over the tray and it popping out is a bit of an optimistic situation.

I got this product for my 5 year old daughter. The dome can be tricky to get the beads to stay where you want them. Once you get the hang of it, it does make pretty cool aquapets!

I feel they should have been $2 because they did not stick together like it claimed and it pulls whatever we use under it up with it. As soon as we thought it was stuck together we lifted it and they started breaking into sections :( my daughter was very upset.

Love these guys. This is such a fun, easy, no-mess craft that keeps them busy! There isn't a little water squirter though.

My daughter has quite a few different Aqua bead sets now and really enjoyed this one, the 3D ones seem to be more sturdy and stick together a lot better than some of the other sets she has had in the past.She has made the panda and the bird in the nest so far and has enjoyed it.You do only get the beads, the templates and the 3D layout tray so you will need to also have or buy a water sprayer, a flat layout tray and a pen or tweezers. I bought my daughter a pair of wide tweezers to use last year and she finds them so much easier to use, but I suppose it's personal preference.

My 5yr old is loving the 3D animal aquabeads set (do not be fooled by the pink box - it is equally suitable for boys and girls).In case you (also) miss the detail.... This is an *accessory pack* - you must already have the water dropper and template tray! Fortunately, my 4yr old happily shared kit with the 5yr old. (phew)Great product: love the 3D nature of the designs; great for fine motor skill development; bead volumes are sufficient enough to add individuality to each creation.

This is a refill pack so you will need to get a starter pack for the pen and water sprayer. It comes with over 500 beads and a layout tray which is great fun. My daughter really enjoyed making 3D animals, she loves pandas. They are stronger than the flat 2D ones as they have more layers to them and don't break as easily. She has them on her chest of drawers beside her TV.

I very much regret having bought these for my twins for Christmas. Tje water sprayer included with it was rubbish and just made it a gluey mess that never dried right and had to be thrown out. Even after buying a proper spray bottle, it was just a mess and just such a waste of money.

Arrived in a speedy manner. My 5yo loves Aquabeads and especially the 3d element of this add on kit. Highly recommend for any child that likes creating things with Aquabeads.
