The eye piece can come loose very easily, with a slight twist and hit the floor, or dirt.

Did what it was suppose to. Have an old 1980 version 600 series Kowa score works great, but I stepped up to the 880 series scope. Used this adaptor to use the old eye pieces until I could get a new eyepiece. Also have specialty eye pieces for the old scope that I can now use on the new.
