Samsung Galaxy Buds+ R175N True Wireless Earbud Headphones - Cosmic Black

These ear buds are great. They work perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Note9 (almost like they were made for them! :D ). The touch interface is seamless and intuitive. As soon as I remove them from their case/charger, they connect to my phone. Replace them in the case and they disconnect. They fit perfectly, an afternoon of constant use exercising, sitting by the pool, and doing "stuff", does not cause any discomfort. It's easy to forget one is wearing them. When I put them on Noise Canceling mode, 90% or the ambient noise is blocked. Turn that off, and the 3 mics pick up outside sound without seriously reducing the music quality. I can easily pause the music and carry on a conversation, they also allow me to hear traffic noises when riding or running (important not to have the music too loud of course). I have not tested the batter life completely. I've had 2-3 hours of continuous music and 3-4 hours of standby/light phone use, and they still had 50% charge according to the phone app. The case will fully recharge them about 1.5-2 times - estimated based on my use so far. Suffice it to say that with the buds and case fully charged one could easily expect 5-7 hours of music and similar standby/phone use. One can also just use the right ear bud for phone use, and leave the left bud in the case. A nice feature!

Very good item for everything

The battery life is unchallenged at this price point. I've worn these throughout the work day with them almost always making it through the entire day WITH AMBIENT SOUND ON (which uses more battery power, since the microphones need to stay on for it.) The sound quality is crystal clear, and the bass hits so hard with the perfect seal in your ear. All the different options for the rubber pieces is super nice, I had to play around with them for a bit to get the perfect seal, but they stay in my ear throughout my workouts and feel comfortable in there. Also for working out the IP-rating of these is perfectly good for that usecase. I wouldn't wear these in the shower or something, but your body sweat isn't going to damage these, and neither is the rain, probably. The only problem I've had is that you have to clean the earbuds' gold contacts every week or two of constant use otherwise they get too dirty to charge in the case, but that's not really a problem. You should be cleaning these (with just Q-tips or something) fairly often for good clarity.

Amazing technology with one major flaw. Sound - if you can get a very secure fit, the sound is good. Less bass than airpods out of the box, but sound scheme can be edited. A bit too much hassle to get a good fit though. Comfort & fit - just okay..my ears get sore after a few hours. Not had this problem with airpods. Really hard to get a good fit. You may be luckier than me. Do give you 9 customization options, but none worked great for me. Battery - superb. Much better than airpods. Ecosystem & tech - works great with my s10+ and galaxy active watch. Really customizable. Use for sports - unfortunately I've reverted back to my airpods, that never fall out of my ears and are lighter. Have to keep adjusting these while running. Have tried all combinations of tips and fittings. Such a shame.

I've had multiple sets of wireless earbuds over the years but this is the first set that I've purchased for the price. I recieved an amazon gift card for my birthday and the appeal to me to purchase these was that I have a samsung phone and these are the "official" brand and I was already looking for earbuds with a longer battery life. The previous pairs I had would last about two hours. All I have to say is these are WELL worth it! I have been working a 12hr overnight shift this week and placed one earbud in to listen to music to pass the time and after 10hrs, I still had 60% battery life! The ambient noise function is great and effective as well! I also use my wireless charger to charge them when not in use. And call/voice quality for phone calls is excellent as a "hands free" option! Overall these earbuds are exactly what I was looking for and in fact exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend Galaxy Buds!! VERY satisfied with this purchase!

I, unfortunately, lost my first pair of earbuds and I decided to buy the exact same pair again, even if there are newer updated versions with active noise canceling, I still think these are great. These fit my ears better than any other earbuds I have used. I have relatively small ears but these still fit me. They don't leak a ton of music like Apple Airpods do. You can choose between three different sizes and if you want to have the earlock thing or not. Battery life is much better than AirPods and you also have more customizable options. There are commands for both going to the next song and changing the volume, you don't have to choose just one like on the AirPods. You can still connect them via Bluetooth to Android or iPhone. They also have wireless charging or charging via USB-C. If I lost them again I would probably order them again.

I have used mifo 05s, 1more Stylish, Jabra 75ts and mifo 07 earbuds so far. I need something with well rounded sound that will work well when playing music or hearing speech. I also need single earbud independent use capability and combined battery life what will get me through a 12 hour shift. These mark all the check boxes. My previous go to earbuds were the 1More Stylish, but I would experience several connection drops everyday, and it finally got old and too annoying. For a few more bucks, I got these Buds+ and what a pleasant improvement they have proven to be. Zero connection issues, they hold better in my ear than the 1Mores and don't stick as far out. They sound very good and the companion app adds a nice set of additional features. In addition, the touch controls on the earbuds work fairly well. If you want something that just works, and does it reliably, with your Samsung phone, I can't recommend these enough.

Short version of the story: Turns out these Galaxy+ earbuds are an international device and Samsung will not cover them under warranty. The vendor would not help after the 30 day return period. The vendor did replace the original defective pair, but by the time the second pair died - the 30 days were expired. No where is it stated in the item description on Amazon that this is an international device that would void the Samsung warranty and you would have to pay for any repairs out of pocket. Read on if you want to know more details.... Detailed version: After having these Galaxy+ earbuds for only 2 weeks, one of the earbuds quit producing sound. It was barely audible when turned to max volume. I contacted the vendor and they quickly sent a new replacement pair. 2 weeks later, the second pair had the same issue. I went through all the recommended fixes on the Samsung website with both sets of earbuds (properly fitting in the ear, charging, updating software, pairing again, etc.) and it did not help at all. I contacted the vendor again and they said that I was outside of the 30 day return window from my original purchase and I had to go through Samsung and their warranty service. I contacted Samsung and a repair ticket was issued along with a shipping label for me to send in the earbuds for service. After about a week after shipping out the earbuds, I received an email from Samsung with a bill of $108 to cover the repairs. Ummm.... the warranty states a minimum of a 6 month warranty. I also did some research and this is a known defect with the Galaxy+ earbuds. I called Samsung and talked with a case manager. The case manager said that the device is an international device and is not covered under warranty. I asked how is a consumer supposed to know that? The case manager said if you enter the long version of the model number that is printed on the box into a Google search, it will tell you where the device is from. Turns out this device is from the Caribbean! No where in the item description on Amazon does it state that it was an international device. How is a consumer supposed to know this? We can't see the box with the details prior to purchase. I paid $109 for the original pair of earbuds. There is no way I'm paying another $108 to have them repaired. So I'm out over $100 and no earbuds to even show for it. They were great for the 2 weeks that they did work.

I've used these earbuds for several months now. I thoroughly enjoy them and have them on almost every hour of the day. Upgrading from audiotechnica headphones, I can say that the audio quality is excellent and I have no complaints. I can use these when I'm exercising, skateboarding and fits in my helmet comfortably when riding my motorcycle. Pros: - Amazing audio quality - Incredibly long hours of use (can last almost days until both the case and the buds are depleted) - Quick effortless pairing when putting them on (you can switch to other previously paired devices pretty fast too) - Can pair on mobile devices and PCs (I use Samsung so I am not sure about Apple phones) - Case and buds charges very fast - Ergonomic fit (fits really well, replaceable fins and buds to your liking, never falls out during moderate physical activities) - The ambient sound setting is a really great feature. It allows you stay aware of your surroundings which keeps you stay safe in the streets, and lets you have conversations with other people without taking them off. When the feature is off it blocks out sound really well too. Things to point out: - Moving too far from your device (outside a room or two) will cause it to start cutting out and sometimes lose connection. This is subpar compared to other wireless earphones I've owned but I think it's a fine exchange for great battery life and size. If you tend to move around like myself, it's best to keep your device with you at all times. Overall, it's a great product that suits my needs.

Muy buenos audifonos, solo que la aplicacion no me funciona en iPhone 6, ya lei que solo a partir del 7 funciona la aplicacion, tienen buen sonido, sin ser algo espectacular es nitido y buena fidelidad, yo esperaba bajos mas profundos, pero en realidad estan bien, de muy buena manufactura, se sienten de calidad en cada detalle, ahora que hago Home Office puedo estar trabajando en mi laptop a dos manos, pararme a servir un cafe sin problemas de perdida de señal hasta poco mas de 15 metros, son muy comodos, los puedo usar casi todo el dia, y entre llamadas escucho spotify o youtube, aislan muy bien el sonido externo, lo mejor no tuve que pagar una fortuna, el precio que págue fue el mas bajo de todo internet, mas bajo que en otros Portales comerciales famosos, en resumen, muy contento con mi compra, me llego super rapido y bien empacado, lo mejor que me los autoregale por ser mi cumpleaños el 23 de Julio y los disfruto mucho. En la noche veo mis seris de Netflix con ellos, de verdad muy complacido

I purchased these earbuds a few weeks ago and they have been great so far. I listen to music at a very low volume all night while I sleep. I put in 1 earbud and it lasts the entire night. I also love the ambient mode. This allows you to hear sounds externally via the built-in microphone. I am a little hard of hearing and (for me) this serves as a great amplifier when watching TV or when talking to friends. Keep in mind though its not a hearing aid. Turning on the ambient mode does reduce the battery life. I don't know how much, but I did have them in for about 4 hours one day with ambient mode switched on and they lasted the entire time. I can not comment on their longevity but the build quality seems great, and as a former musician and studio engineer (hence the hearing loss...lol) I think they sound very good. They are small and comfortable as well. Keep in mind that to access the full functionality of the earbuds you will need to download a Samsung app. Overall I do recommend these earbuds mostly because the battery life on a single charge is great (in access of 8 hours at least) and for the ambient mode.

Antes de adquirir los Galaxy Buds + busqué infinidad de reseñas en Internet. Casi todas apuntaban a su calidad de construcción, comodidad y sonido... y no se equivocaron. Su rendimiento es lo suficiente como para durarte una semana de uso promedio sin preocuparte si te vas a quedar sin carga. No se caen de los oídos, por mucho que muevas la cabeza. El sonido, si vienes de unos over-ear caros, quizá te quede a deber (son totalmente distintos, de clases diferentes), mas con el tiempo te acostumbrarás y los amarás. Tengo un S10 Plus y de sólo abrir el estuche se emparejan. La aplicación Wearable de Samsung más intuitiva y práctica no puede ser. La primera vez que los usé se actualizó el software. Son bastante cómodos, casi no se sienten en los oídos. El aislamiento de sonido es pasivo (no cuentan con aislamiento activo), pero hacen bien su trabajo. En ambientes ruidosos (camión, parada de buses, etc.) logran bloquear como un 50-60% del ruido ambiente. Ya con la música a volumen moderado difícilmente escucharás los sonidos de afuera, aunque cuentan con una modalidad que permite, mediante el uso de los micrófonos, escuchar el ambiente externo en cierta medida . Su volumen es más que suficiente para satisfacer a aquellos que gustan quedarse sordos desde la adolescencia y no distorsionan a volumen máximo. Los gestos, una vez adaptados a ellos, son intuitivos y bastante sensibles. Los micrófonos hacen su trabajo en llamadas y grabación de voz. Si los encuentras a bajo de 3 mil no lo pienses dos veces, no te arrepentirás.

I love this product and would highly recommend it. It fits securely in my ear, blocks most sounds, has very useful touch controls, ambient mode so you can hear your surrounds when you need to, and it has very long lasting batteries!
