Legitimately life changing book & incredible strategy to build an All-Star network
I've written MAYBE 5 book reviews across the hundreds of books I've purchased on Amazon & only because the book was powerful enough to completely shift my thinking.THIS IS ONE OF THOSE BOOKSJayson has clearly outlined a simple (not easy) strategy which can completely change your personal & business lives for the better. He clearly outlines the methodology behind Mastermind Dinners, how to structure your dinners for maximum effectiveness, what to do after your dinners, how to make contact with hard to reach people & countless other things.Throughout my entire life I've been told how charismatic & outgoing I am yet never found any real value in networking, as I'd make strong connections with people I couldn't help & couldn't help me. However after reading this book, I feel very confident in my ability to finally build my dream network by curating dinners with the type of people I look up to.

Great advice for intermediate networkers to up their game
This book explains really well the philosophy and advantages of mastermind dinners as a tool to scale your network and improve your connection and relationship management skills.I felt a lack of structures examples of mastermind dinner in terms of their timing and facilitation.Highly recommended for people moving to a new city, country or industry as a starter toolkit for getting connected

It will change your life for the better in so many ways
This is the second review I've written on Amazon. And I've been an Amazon Prime member since the program was created. Why now? Why this book after so many many reads? Or maybe even more powerfully -- why go and *buy* the book after borrowing it in haste to read on my kindle? Here is the tl:dr version of the review: Buy this book. Read it. Put it into practice. It will change your life for the better in so many ways.-------------------------There are very few people who can capture the essence of a simple idea and then leverage its application to remake themselves and restart their lives. Jayson is one of those very few. His story is compelling and the methods he used to overcome a debilitating pre-midlife crisis and create a business of exceptional success and value are available to anyone willing to heed and learn. The heart of the book is not unlike Keith Ferrazzi's "Never Eat Alone". But unlike Ferrazzi's excellent book, Jayson delivers a concise, practical formula for creating connections that is accessible to anyone who eats and happens to know more than one other human. That's a heck of a lot of people. In the opening chapters, Jayson outlines his discovery of the power of connection and networking and tells the story of his recovery from his first, ultimately self-destructive and soul-destroying business. He then goes on to enumerate key principles of relationship building and its power. The real payday comes in the last third of the book where he outlines (in detail) his formula for creating and hosting "Mastermind" dinners. What stands out about his approach is how selfless it is. Nowhere does Jayson say or even really imply that the value of the Mastermind dinner lies in what it can do for its host. Instead he is quite clear that when you host such an event, your only path to success lies in becoming a servant leader whose primary concern is that everyone who attends walks away with a powerful sense of value and connection to like minded people. In the same way that form follows fitness -- the benefit to you for embarking on the "Way of the Mastermind Host" lies in the value you bring to other people as they become a part of these dinners.I am a serial entrepreneur of more than 15 years and a university professor before that. While I have grown and relied on my network of colleagues and friends for over two decades, I've never before seen such a concise and powerful idea put so elegantly. One small disclaimer -- I became aware of Jayson because his story of "recovery" from a business that was killing him was forwarded to me by a friend. He and I have messaged briefly and had one 20 minute phone chat in the last two years. So, he is an acquaintance of mine. With luck someday, I'll call him a friend... hmm... maybe I should ask him to dinner.

"There are seven days in a week and someday isn't one of them." - lots of good info and useful highlights ...
I like the motivational, self improvement category. As I read I felt like it was two books in one; first, a book about setting up and running the Mastermind dinners. I was ok with that part but what I found more interesting was the information and tips and guidance on building personal networks for example, ice breaker cards like "I lose track of time when..." "... connect based on a common interest outside of business."In summary, I found the information of the dinners so-so but was more excited by the networking tips and techniques. Worth a read? Definitely but be prepared to focus on the parts that are useful to your mission.

easy to dip into
The beauty of the book is in the simplicity. What separates books that make a difference from those that don't, is that they inspire you to take action. This is one of those books. It is short, to the point, easy to dip into, and thus easy to implement immediately, and Jason leads into the action steps by building up with his own personal story, removing all internal objection and disbelief that you, the reader, can achieve similar results.Buying this is a no-brainer. Highly recommended.

Well worth 10 Times the Value!
Well worth 10 Times the Value!I was really impressed with the amount of value that Jayson put into this book. It is a quick read and it's packed with thousands of dollars of knowledge that is very applicable in both your business and life. If you ever want to grow your network, then this is the book for you. I love all the inspiring quotes and action steps that Jayson laid out for me to connect with more like minded people. My favorite part about the book is the resources section. I've been implementing the tools and they have all been invaluable. Get this book while you can and it will give you some tremendous shifts. Keep in mind your net work is your net worth. :)

Brief and encouraging -
Basic idea: host dinners for interesting and influential people and you'll become friends with more and better people. And that will change your life. This is a quick read, half practical tips and half motivation (relationships are what matter most). There are some helpful ideas, but nothing you probably couldn't come up with. But what all the ideas do in total is make this feel doable.I'm looking forward to trying this myself, actually.

Quick Cool Read on Creating Great Connections over Dinner
Happiness really comes from great connections and experiences with cool people. Oh doing it while enjoying a delicious dinner never hurts, does it? This quick read packs a lot of punch explaining how that concept can really change your life and the lives of the people you connect. That might sound a little fluffy ... but this book is not fluff. You'll find out what Jayson did, why he did it and how you can do it too. It's a simple concept that can boost your business, add zeros to your income, help you solve problems and have way more fun.For anyone out there in a transition, running a business or feeling like there isn't a place for you and your interests right now ... this is a book that will inspire you AND give you tools to create the very thing you need and want in your life. Wondering who you should have for dinner? How do you get interesting people (and busy people) to say yes? Where you should have them? Does it matter where they sit? Who should pay? These are all questions he answered clearly.I think you'll find this book is more than worth the small cost and short time it will take to consume.
