TYRWomen's Tyreco Maxfit Swimsuit

I have recently started swimming laps again. I am 49 years old and I wanted a suit that wasn’t “old lady” but still covered the right areas. It’s a great fit for being active and comfortable.

This is a perfect, basic bathing suit with a fairly modest cut and few frills. Because it's not fancy, it's perfect for lap swimming or for hanging out with kids at the pool. Some dressing-up could be done by topping it off with a separate swim skirt or shorts. The bust support works well without squashing the chest too much, and the nice, wide straps don't cut into the shoulders. The back straps do fit a little snugly compared to the rest of the suit -- perhaps less of a problem for those with a smaller/less-broad chest area? It's a minor issue, however; in the end I loved my basic black swimsuit so much that when I needed a second suit for a vacation I purchased another in green -- a nice, dark-foresty color. I'm considering a third for when these wear out, since it can be so hard to find a reliable swimsuit without going to the store.P.S. High quality suit and modest design, which is excellent for little girls. No issues with fading. It does run small. My daughter is tall and thin for 9 yo: 58 pounds, 52.5" tall. We ordered a 26, according to the size guide. It fits perfectly right now (tight but not uncomfortable) for competition, but there is absolutely no wiggle room for growth, so I don't expect her to wear it long. Will purchase this suit again in the next size!

I am 5’5” and 120 lbs. size 32 is a great fit after initial pulling. Good quality and good support. Durable.

Good coverage, bottom and top for petite older (60's) swimmer. Not too heavy like some suits w/ padding that gets weighed down in the water. Great price compared to Dick's at $75. or so.

My item came with a loose thread! Already coming off and I only noticed after wearing the swimsuit once and it has a hole in it... I can't get a refund because it has already been worn. Very upsetting.

Great suit. Perfect weight for daily lap swimming. Runs very small. Followed size chart but couldn’t get it on. Not even close. I’m afraid to try another size because I have no clue what size to choose. If sizing works for you I think you’ll love the suit.

This is my 3rd TYR swimsuit of this model. I swim laps 2 to 3 times per week and I like this suit because it is not flimsy and it is built for athletes vs. casual swimmers. Each suit I've bought lasts about 6 to 9 months, after which it stretches out too much. Other comments about sizing are correct. The size chart from TYR is way off. I'm 5'5'', 120 lbs and usually wear a size 4, give or take a size, depending on the manufacturer. In this swimsuit, I buy a 38 and it fits well. 38 is listed as Large, but I'm not a large, so order up a few sizes.

El traje es de buena calidad y llega a tiempo solo que las tallas son muy reducidas, tuve que devolverlo y pedir otro más grande

I gained some weight during covid and needed a swimsuit that fit me well for swimming and that made me comfortable to be around other people in. I was scared it wouldn’t fit but honestly the fit is amazing, better than I could’ve imagined. I haven’t swam in it yet but just with trying it on I’m very happy with this product. As an ex competitive swimmer I can say the quality looks good and it’s worth the money.

El traje es de muy buena calidad, tela gruesa, bonito corte pero viene muy reducido, yo soy talla 36 y así lo pedí y no me quedo, tuve que pedir talla 40 y ese si me quedo.
