Straight Forward Review ~ These clippers are worth every penny. Although I did need to realign the blades out of the box (no big deal), once I plugged this puppy in I was in heaven. Finally, a POWERFUL and QUIET motor. Vibration is strong but not so bad you'll drop it or mess up the hair, but strong enough to know that this thing means business. One pass is all that is needed, cutting through like butter. The comb guides that are included are also quite nice providing 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8. Pretty much all I need and on my first attempt I was able to provide a very nice fade combining the smaller numbers with the adjustment slide on the clipper. SWEET!!!! After about 20 mins of use I worried that it might get hot since it has an aluminum casing but it never did. If you are in the market for a quality machine, with nice assortment of comb guides, look no further. I'm so thrilled with this purchase. Backstory ~ I'll start by saying I am a home cutter for 3 boys. I have no formal training, haven't watched any youtube videos, I just cut and learn from experience and have been doing so for about 3 years. The last 6 months has been a quest to find a quality clipper that is easy to use. I enjoyed the Oster Fast Feed until it stopped cutting well after a few months use (15 cuts or so). Hair would get clogged underneath the blades and I would constantly have to take it apart and put it together. I returned those and decided it wasn't worth my spending more money and that a cheaper Wahl product would be good enough. I purchased the Wahl Clipper Elite Pro for $40 which was TERRIBLE. Loud, couldn't cut, returned. I finally settled on this beauty after going back and forth between this and the Andis professional line. My family cuts our own hair, and I learned to cut my own hair when I was younger. Many years ago we bought an Andis hair clipper which works excellent to this day, even on the original blade set. I wanted to compliment it by getting another clipper. After doing a ton of research, I settling on the Wahl Senior. I'm glad I did, because it cuts just as well (if not better) than the Andis. The height adjustment is stiff, which is how I like it, so it doesn't move on it's own or if I accidentally touch it. Plenty of different aftermarket blade options too. It was properly zero-gapped from the factory. I like the sound of it turning on too. That nice "clack" when it turns on, the the sound of the precision motor quietly humming away. Cuts through my thick hair with no issues. I've cut a few folks hair already with it, and sometimes I wish I was a paid barber, because I could use this hair clipper all day long. It's also great hair clipper for fades and close cuts. I can say it does get warm after using it for a while or doing multiple hair cuts in a row, but nothing that I'd say would be uncomfortable. It's a great hair clipper, and a good compliment to my collection. Wahl makes excellent hair clippers.

These are hefty very sturdy high quality clippers with lots of power and a beautiful chrome metal housing. They feel very solid and well built in your hands. They can cut through very thick hair. I think they might feel a bit heavy for some that professional barbers and I've also read that they might warm up after prolonged use. But, I only use it for my family and I've never experienced any issues with the weight or the heat. They are by far the best Wahl clippers I have owned. I just use a towel when I lay them down on the table because I'm afraid to scratch the beautiful chrome finish.

The packaging was damaged upon arrival, the clippers themselves seem to perform properly, and have a solid motor so far, I’m becoming biased towards Wahl clippers, good products. The price was a little above $100 spent, but for a brand new pair of clippers i expect the majority of the product to be scratch free… pretty scuffed.

I just purchased this Wahl Sterling Senior hair clipper and it is exactly what I expected, a professional quality product. I have been reviewing Wahl clippers and considered purchasing one of their cordless models instead. After all considerations, I finally decided to purchase the Sterling Senior because of the quality of design, the price and most of important, the power. Amazon does not list the product correctly. The Sterling Senior has a V9000 motor not as some reviews mentioned as a V5000. Once you turn it on you know it is a quality product. The unit is very sturdy and the bottom casing is all stainless steel. The blades are quality and very sharp, just like they say, cuts like butter. The cord is 7 1/2 feet long, not 10 feet as some reviewers mentioned. The only minor issue I have is that it does not come with some kind of accessory bag or pouch to put the hair clipper and accessories in once you open the box. Overall, you will NOT be disappointed.

I cut my own hair and I have been doing so with years with the cheap Wahl with the color coded guides, but I wanted to upgrade since it was getting old and noisy. So I researched around and I found this is one of the best clippers to get. Let me tell you this thing is perfect, it has a great grip for your thumb, it's very powerful so haircuts will be faster, you don't have to go back and forth so much trying to cut the hair, it looks good, the power cable is longer. It doesn't feel cheap at all, this is professional so upgrading to this was mindblowing. If you are looking for new clippers, you can't go wrong with these Seniors.

Saw some good and bad reviews on these clippers. I'm 26 and bought my 1set set of Wahl clippers in 2003, they wernt this kind but still a good set of clippers that lasted me until 2010 before they started acting up. Researched these and was caught by the stainless housing and strength of the motor. As soon as I got them I wanted to try them out and i could not be more pleased. some complain about the wieght but i saw no problem with it. Very durable and the cut was excellent and even. One thin i do have to warn is that fresh out the box they come very sharp so be careful with your first couple cuts around the ears. I look forward to using these clippers until they cant go anymore. Best clippers i've owned.

My favorite clipper, it’s quiet and reliable I’ve bought clippers in the past that have broke easily these last until your forced to get new ones. cuts clean. They are a little on the heavier side but I personally like that with clippers

No soy peluquero, por la pandemia decidí comprar esta maquina. Pero estoy fascinado la fácil que es utilizarla, lo bien que corta el pelo. No puedo emitir recomendaciones por lo mismo, pero si que estoy feliz con la compra, mis expectativas se cumplieron.

La maquina funciona muy bien el motor tiene mucho poder y corta uniformemente con solo una pasada, excelente para cortes de precisión, viene con todos los niveles necesarios, todo dice pro. Lo que no me gustó es que si se caliente y tengo que usar guante después de 5 minutos de uso, a mi consideración le falta un regulador que disipe el calor. La maquina se ve increíble en el acabado cromo, en comparación con otros productos de Braun o Norelco que tengo no tiene comparación la Wahl esta muy por encima en precisión y repuestos lo que para mi es super importante por que he tenido varias maquinas que al año ya no cortan igual y tengo que deshacerme de ellas cuando siguen funcionando pero no tienen filo las navajas, con whal puedes conseguir las cuchillas fácilmente, eso se aprecia.
