Wonderful summer option
Light weight, comfortable, sturdy construction, great price, perfect fit--I wear size 14, and size large is spot on. I plan to order more, and, as there is a terrific color range, probably several pairs. These are perfect summer pants, particularly for those of us who want to limit sun exposure (50 SPF) and still stay cool. I absolutely love this first pair.Edit--I've ordered 1 more pair and still adore the 1st which has been machine laundered a couple of times. I can't think of anything better to stick in a suitcase--very light weight, can be hand washed and dries wrinkleless overnight.

Fast drying
Wore these in Canada for ATVing. They were amazing. Light for packing. Super comfy with enough stretch to sit and maneuver the mountain trails. They aren’t waterproof but they dried almost instantly after getting completely drenched. Kept the dust off. Zip pockets held my phone well. I would say they are true to size. I’m about 5’7 155lbs and ordered a large.

Great pants for hiking!
These pants were fantastic for hiking. At one point my foot slipped off a rock into a stream up to mid calf and the water just repelled off these pants. Very soft and comfortable for moving around in. Lightweight and not too hot. It was in the 70s and pretty hot out but I was fine wearing these pants. Usually I wear shorts in that type of weather. I am 5'5 and 185lbs usually wear a size 8-10 jean and in these pants the medium fit perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars was because the bottom part i couldn't get up past my calves. I was trying to pull up the pant to reach my knee but they were too tight in that area. I do have big calves but if they were a tiny bit more room that would be great. The waist and rest of pants fit perfect though. Happy with my purchase.

What’s not to like about these?!
There’s a reason these get more than 20,000 reviews and still hold over a 4 star rating! These pants are exactly as described and SO comfortable. Lightweight (keep all those mosquitos at bay on warm camping or hiking days), water resistant, stylish, functional and useful pockets, sturdy construction, easy to move around in (I did hiking, rock climbing, and even slept in them! And I felt the highest comfort 100% of the time). When I first pulled these on I absolutely melted into the soft comfort. Many people at camp complimented the style. And most important, I stayed cool and bug bite free :-), and could carry pretty much anything I needed to in the mesh pockets.Go ahead, press the purchase. I promise you won’t regret it.

Fantastic pants, but probably need to size down
Super comfortable, well fitting pants that move with you, even in a deep squat, without restricting. One of my very favorite features is that they lined the waist band with a softer material. Game changer! My other pairs of hiking pants don't have this, and the main fabric doesn't feel as nice against your skin as this lining does. Well done, baleaf. I was concerned the ankle toggles would be annoying or ticklish, but I don't even notice them. For me the length is perfect with sneakers and with mid hiking boots. I am 5'4" and got the 29" pants. I am a size 10 and generally order a large in pants. When I ordered these in large, they were way too big so I returned those and got these (medium) which fits perfectly. Might be because this brand's "large" is 12/14 when other brands' "large" is 10/12. I bought these mainly for an upcoming backpacking trip, but having tested them out wearing them to work (I'm a chiropractor, working in a gym setting), I think I'm safe to review them now. I usually wear tights when backpacking but pulling them back up when sweaty after pottying is so difficult and these are very quick drying and allow for more air flow. I'll update this review IF I find something about them that warrants fewer than 5 stars after my trip. As it is, I anticipate getting a second pair for the trip. This was an Amazon brand purchase win for me.

Fantastic pants for travel
I wore these pants on our trip to Canada and Alaska, where the weather ranged from pouring rate to hot and muggy. These pants were fantastic - they were very light and small to pack, were cool in the hot sun and when it rained, I literally just shook off the water. The fabric felt durable and held up as we walked through some trees and bushes on the trails. I loved the ankle drawstring to cinch the bottom to give it shape and make it more stylish when we were exploring the town and it also was awesome in tucking it into my hiking boots so it wasn't so baggy. I'm 5'5" and 130lb and the S fit me great. I loved how it was stylish enough to wear as regular street clothes and also hardy enough for hiking. When you're traveling - you need that duality!

Quick dry and light travel pants
I wore these pants happily all over Europe for hiking and general travel. I’m 5’4” 133 and M fit great. The drawstring waist doesn’t roll down and fits nicely- no bubble butt effect. The zipper pockets are handy. I used the pull-cord bottom to shorten the legs a bit, but the string made a weird loop that I wondered about getting caught on things. I re-wore the same pair multiple days and rinsed them in the sink, and they were dry without wrinkles the by the next morning. The only thing I noticed was that the fabric was not super breathable- although it is light. I felt a little sweaty after sitting for a while and wondered if it was b/c of the fabric. Still nice, comfy pants for the money.
