Yet when used as a foliar spray, it's completely available through the leaves. I'm going to try this at around 1tsp/gallon, which I've done before with their great powdered Nitrogen Amino Acid product, and had great results using as a foliar spray, especially with around 5% Fulvic Acid, 5% soluble Kelp mixed together with their powdered Nitrogen Amino Acid powder. Great during the vegetative stage through early flower. At this time I switched to the liquid flowerering Amino Acids and didn't have any burning or bad results from this unique product. The directions given seemed to recommend a higher amount than what/how much I thought. Very strange that this great company doesn't give amounts per gallon information for Hobby growers? Great products in hobby sizes, yet instructions don't usually mention amounts per gallon. I must say that I've been very impressed with each product I've tried though! Definitely start with a smaller amount on part of the plant and check the next day for any burning, etc. Just have to dial it in, for now. It is my "go to" organic fertilizer due to its flexibility and non-burning characteristics (NPK=4-3-3). It is perfect for foliar spraying for non-leafy veggies and other plants. Cabbage and Iceberg lettuce should only apply to the soil, as it can ferment and cause leaf rot if not watered in. It smells wonderful. Easy to use in both sprayers and watering cans. One caveat, only make as much as you will use immediately, as it will ferment if mixed and placed in a storage container, which makes using it in a sprayer difficult, if not impossible. Still, the ingredients in the product produce huge yields, making it a great value. It is AWESOME for prepping/conditioning soil prior to planting, and a great boost for "living soil" grow mediums. I haven't found a plant that doesn't respond really well to this fertilizer. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plants grow overnight *by 4***N on May 12, 2024* I sprayed the leaves of every plant to use up the amount that I mixed. An azalea bloomed in vivid full blooms in a couple days. It had never had such full intense colors. Am using on my herbs and vegetables that will be placed in the garden and will let you know how they do. The winter berries went from possibly going to have leaves to fully leafed out. Lavender was doing well but after sprayed more rich colors. Only down side is doesn’t smell so great. However dissipates quickly and for its effectiveness I do not care about the smell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ black foam *by A***E on August 23, 2024* I applied the product for the first time today to my vegetable garden. It is a thick opaque black liquid, it has the mild aroma and appearance of molasses. Perhaps it is a sugar cane derivative.
