This is a good study table for the price. We bought it to use as a nightstand in our spare bedroom, and we liked it so much we purchased a second table for the other side of the bed. The color is exactly as pictured, and the table was easy to assemble.

If I saw a $350 price tag on this sofa table in a retail store, I would probably keep walking. However, now that I have the table, I do like it alot. The wood is solid. Once it's assembled, the table doesn't look like it was delivered in a box with assembly required. The quality of the furniture is on par with what you would see at Living Spaces, which is just as over priced as this item. although I do like it now that it's in my house.

Good quality and not too heavy. Pretty easy to put together. I did this by myself and it didn't take long. I love the design. Plenty of storage room. I also purchased matching end tables. All together everything looks great!

UPDATE: It took about 2 weeks for the varnish smell to go away. Worth the wait though!Very happy with my purchase. The table looks very nice, it’s sturdy, doesn’t look cheap at all. What initially sold me is that everything else I was looking at in this price range didn’t have any tracks for the drawers - they were all just wood on wood, which makes it hard to open. These drawers have nice metal tracks and are nice and deep. The color is described as distressed gray but there’s no gray at all. It’s a wood brown with green accents. The overall effect is really nice. Doesn’t look GREEN, but if you’re going for gray this isn’t for you.People have mentioned the smell - it’s not a big deal. It’s just a normal new furniture smell and I’m sure it will go away in a few days.

The table was smaller than anticipated but works in the space, easy to put together; it's sturdy and I really like the 2 storage drawers. Dark finish scratches very easily and shows marks quickly.

I purchased this little side table to sit next to a recliner that sits on an angle away from my couch, end tables, and coffee table. I chose the hickory brown to match very dark brown (not black) tables. I also chose the unassembled version. The table came exactly as advertised. The parts came well packed in styrofoam and doubled boxed. Each piece inside was well wrapped and labeled for assembly. All the screws and connectors, and Allen wrenches were included with a few spares. The directions were easy to follow and I had the table put together in twenty minutes. It is well made and fits the bill perfectly. I would but from this vendor again.

This is the fourth SIMPLI-Home product I have bought from Amazon. Quality has been going down on each successive purchase. As can be seen the images the top of the table was made of very poor quality wood and the attempts to cover the problems are amateurish. There was also molding that was coming off of the lower part of the table top. I discovered the problems after completely emptying the box. There was no way to re-pack and send it back. Also, it should be noted that there was no damage to the shipping box. This was obviously poor quality control. I thought I could make use of the warranty to get a new top. The customer service people were friendly but I could never get a resolution to my problem. Finally they admitted that they had no warranty replacement parts to ship. They told me that they would refund me $50 to make up for it. It took about 10 days but they did refund me $50.

Love the packaging, color. and size. Great directions and easy put together, was disappointed 2 pieces not fitting exact, they leave a space where it should be tight together. Wasn't worth sending back after getting it all together.

Would have been nice if it had used a hex key system like other build it yourself furniture pieces used. I had trouble finding a star shaped screw driver for the project.instructions were clear and somewhat easy to follow
