Lipper InternationalChild's Rectangular Table with Shelves and 2 Chairs, Walnut Finish

So far so good. Got it a few days ago. Some minor random spot missing stain but it's fine. The screws were really big and made putting the table together easily and didn't ruin the furniture or strip according to my husband. The inside of the cubbies was smooth and stained...I checked because someone complained in a review. No issues for me. The stain is accurate, it doesn't feel completely solid wood but I did check the lipper site and it said it is. I like the set a lot. My son loves it and won't stop messing with the chairs. He is 19mo and is 32" and has a foot or more of feet when his back is to the chair when sitting in it for meals. His head come above it right under his chin but that's ok because he has YEARS of usage to get out this if he doesn't ruin it. Bought a piece of vinyl and table cloth to try to protect the top. I think it is a good investment. Table measurements accurate as listed on this page.

Was really looking forward to this set. Very disappointed. Firstly, company sent me the wrong color. I ordered Pecan and received Walnut. It's too dark and doesn't match anything else in the house. Put this together with my husband and was even more disappointed when we realized the legs on the table lack reinforcement and do the splits when the table is touched, very wobbly. There is no way to tighten the legs further, they are screwed together with just two screws and attempting to tighten further ruins the hole. I would not buy this again. My 2 year old loves the table but we are going to have to figure out how to reinforce this thing. Husband is a carpenter and might be able to rig something up, but the average mom and dad would end up getting stuck with a flimsy table.

This is pretty easy to put together for my husband. Maybe took 30 minutes. It's very sturdy so it does move around easily on the tile floor. The biggest complaints and the reason I gave it four stars is that it has deans and we've had it less than a month. I didn't expect the top part to be this easy to damage. Kind of annoying because I bought it for a school table.My girls are pretty gentle with it so I'm really disappointed.

I bought this for my 16-month old. She's 21 pounds and 31-inches tall. This table is quite big as far as proportion goes but I expected that. I bought it intending to watch her grow into it. She has no problem climbing up onto the chairs. The table top is a bit high when she's sitting but right now she just gets on her knees on the chair.As far as strength goes this set gets 5 stars. Its very sturdy and heavy; I don't worry about it collapsing in the least bit, even if I were to sit on it.Assembly is 3 stars. I've read previous reviews saying that the holes are too small for the screws provided, however I didn't find that to be the case. They are supposed to be small so that the screws go in snuggly. I also read that the screws provided are too soft and stripped without effort. Again, I didn't have a problem with this. I did make an effort to use the largest phillips head I could find though and to use heavy pressure to prevent stripping. DO NOT use a gun with furniture, ever. Maybe that's why some reviewers had these problems? Anyways... On one of the chairs one hole was drilled about 1-1/2 millimeters too high and the seat panel has that size gap between it and the wood. I can't see it when it's standing upright and it doesn't affect the strength of the chair overall but I am a bit irritated by that.The worst part is the staining and finishing. 2 stars. The color overall (walnut) is what I expected but it is not consistent. On the tabletop one side is much darker than the other and it has unnatural waves of darkness throughout. Some of the back panels on the chairs are a much lighter shade. Then whatever finish they put on is clumpy on the edges. Not too badly, but still. I have a feeling this will bother me to the point of sanding every inch down to the bare wood and refinishing it all together.In the end, I bought this for a baby to ruin over the next 10 years so for the price this is pretty decent and I don't feel the need to return it. I would still recommend it to my friends provided they wouldn't care about the imperfections I described. Overall it's a great value and my daughter loves it!

The product is very sturdy and beautiful but assembling the item is really annoying since the legs of the table are wobbly. Also the legs looks crooked and not aligned to each other after assembling. It seems the holes on the legs and the table r not aligned properly and the screws kind of does not go all the way in so there seems to be a gap between the legs and the table. They should have made the screws to the legs to be attached from the inside the table rather than outside which might have solved the problem. Returning the item.

This took way less time to assemble than I expected--probably 30 min total including cleanup. The final product looks classy and is still very functional. Our 5 year old daughter loves spending time at the table in her "art studio" in the dining room.

Great piece of furniture for my kids to do there art projects, homework, etc on.

Sturdy and excellent table for everyday use. I have actually sat in the chairs without issue ( I am 6 ft 230)
