My dog took to these immediately, which isn’t always the case with dental treats. They seem to help with breath and I’ve noticed a gradual improvement in overall oral hygiene, especially with consistent use. The size is appropriate and they’re easy to incorporate into a daily routine. One thing I’d point out is that they’re a bit on the firmer side, so if your dog has sensitive teeth you may want to monitor initially. Also, I wish the packaging had a more secure reseal option. Overall though, these are a great addition to a dental care routine and feel like a good balance between effective and something my dog actually enjoys. I’ll likely continue repurchasing.

These Minties dental treats really do seem to help with tarter control. My Bichon has always had issues with tarter (as most small dogs to according to my vet), and these are a great source of minty breath, the harder texture gives him a slower chew to help clean better than others, better ingredients than many, and a good value for the money.

One of my dog's breath is not the best which sucks because he loves giving kisses. Was going to buy the Greenies but saw these. The reviews were good and the price was considerably less so I decided to give them a try. I'm so happy I did! My dog's both LOVE these treats and the results are immediate. Their breath is instantly fresher. Haven't experienced any digestion issues and the results last a long time. I usually give them a Mintie every few days so I don't overdo it and the dog kisses are much more enjoyable now lol. Give Minties a shot and I think you'll be happy.

My dog likes these, but they are harder than expected, so I have to cut them into smaller pieces. They seem effective for freshening breath, just not as soft as described.

These dog treats have a pleasant mint scent. The texture is semi-soft but hard throughout. The dog is able to eat them with ease. Do they actually clean their teeth? Probably not, no data to confirm that this is true. However, these have been a great dog treat! Will purchase them again.

THANK YOU MINTIES!! Let’s start off by giving the ol’ disclaimer. Nothing -absolutely NOTHING- will work as well as just brushing your dog’s teeth. If you start slow and train them correctly it takes 30 seconds to give your dog’s teeth a good scrub. That being said, it doesn’t work for everyone. I get it. I have 1 highly aggressive elderly dog that can no longer handle me messing with her mouth, a “drools be out his toothpaste in two seconds flat” Labradumb, and my perfect little angel boy who has horns hidden in his halo. I bought these for the “angel”. A two year old Cattle Dog with the breath of an ancient beast spoken only in legends long past. This dog had noxious fumes blasting forth to waylay our enemies long before they knew they were our enemies. Now this is my one dog I can brush his teeth with ease. We brush, and use a dental supplement and when I say his teeth are pearly white I am not kidding. But his breath was horrible. We went to the vet and his vet diagnosed him with “keto breath”. This creature of myth and legend eats so many wandering knights (high protein feed) just to keep weight on that it was affecting his breath. So along with a diet adjustment I started searching for a breath mint. Anything to let me comfortably go back to dwelling in our lair together. Minties does the job! They’re perfect little breath mints to give just before play time. I bought the small ones as a quick breath mint and the chews to add into our nightly dental routine. Thanks to the ingredient list my “allergic to air” Old Lady can even join in the routine again. So while I wouldn’t consider the Minties a complete canine dental routine I do think they’re a wonderful and affordable addition. They certainly work better than some other name brands I’ve tried.

Really makes a difference for my buddies teeth. 11 yrs old and no cleaning ever needed. He gets 1 bone with breakfast every morning. Oh....and he hasn't had many issues with bad breath. Just Occasionally.

I have a large Labrador. I usually give him WHIMZEES every night before bed, but I was still a little concerned about his morning breath. The reason is simple: we live in an office district, and during his morning walks he happily hands out kisses to the morning commuters we meet along the way. So now I give him two Minties FreshBites in the morning before we head out for our walk. At first I was a little unsure because they look and feel like packing peanuts, but he actually chews them really well, almost like gum. After he eats them, when he gives me kisses his breath smells wonderfully minty. I love it! Now he can give the morning commuters big kisses without any worries lol. I also give him a few after breakfast and before his nap. I’ve been looking for a dental care product that’s this easy to give throughout the day for a long time. Another great thing is that they’re low-calorie. As for the dental care effect, it’s only been about a week since we started using them, but they might actually work better than the harder stick-type treats. So far there are no downsides for my dog, but for dogs that swallow treats without chewing, or for small dogs, they might be a bit too large.

This is hands down the favorite treat of all three of my dogs and any of their friends. So glad it’s available in Canada again!

These are healthier than most dental chews. They cost a bit more but it's worth it
